Well, most of the modelling was right.
24 hr rainfall totals to 9 am today. Highest was 322 mm's at Mt Glorious.



Even worse, Hervey Bay has had 318 mm in just 7.5 hrs since 5 am today (Qld time).

Anyone still prepared to call it a fizzer?

Yep. That will be the RTBU's next ransom they hold the govt to.
They hate metro because it shows up how inadequate the current Sydney rail system is compared to modern technology, as well as proving that trains can operate with little to no staff, let alone needing drivers and for gods sake a guard.
f**k them.
Although it's slow, the Sydney trains are actually very acceptable when they perform their job, run on time, and run services with peak frequency, which they can do and have done in the past.
Yet, the whole system is highly unprofitable (despite massive patronage) and is propped up by the govt (ie - the NSW TAX PAYERS) due to unnecessary over staffing and inefficiencies in day to day running of the system.
Anyone who can get a job on Sydney Trains would have the cushiest job of all. Thanks RTBU.
