Surely a week to make a point won't hurt that much. Use the guy from cup making all the metres.
If Kepaoa is burning it down in cup then the idea of giving Tago a spell is at least arguable.

Claiming he could be replaced by anyone with a pulse is memeworthy and there's no problem with Luke calling it out as such.

That's between him and chins amd their marital spat. We have a guy who's leading metres and tries in cup why not reward that and give tago a message. No reason a great player can respond to that because whatever is happening currently hasn't worked. You could even play Jesse on the wing with Alamoti at cebtre I doubt they do worse than the current setup.

That is it. The point that anyone not named Yeo or Cleary isn't replaceable at the moment is just madness we have plenty of depth

What point are you trying to make though??

The team is playing poorly, they need game time together, brining players in and out is just adding to the disruption.

The only reason to drop a player is if someone is a better option, i personally don’t see it.

Tago can't defend and hasn't improved in years.
He now also offers nothing with the ball, these are straight facts

So we continue doing what clearly isn't working?

He's had issues for longer than this little bad run of form for the team. It was admitted as such last year in an interview. How long do you keep doing the same thing expecting different results?

The trouble is, we aren’t doing the same thing, we are changing the team far too regularly.

But we're talking about tago specifically. Your point about the team as a whole is fair with combinations. No argument there but they are somewhat separate discussions.

Edwards comes in.
Talagi will come on the left

neither fix the right side issue

Not sure how many YEARS of this "form" will wake Lukey and Ivan up. Ivan has dropped far better players than Tago before

It’s the same thing.

When we are playing well and everyone is connected in defence, Tago will jam in defence, he will drift and cover as required.

At the moment the team is completely out of sink and none of that is working, it starts with inside defenders. That’s always going to make the centres look bad. If we keep playing this poorly, you could swap in the best defensive centre in the comp and it wouldn’t matter.

I know what y’all will say, “But he’s missing 1 on 1 tackles”. Sure, that would worry me if he was committing to tackles as missing, but he’s not, he’s getting caught in two minds and not committing.

Personally I think both of our edges look as dodgy as each other. The team needs to get together, sort their shit out and start trusting each other.
