ABSOLUTELY NOT. He is a Peahearted Pumpkin and absolutely TOXIC to a culture.

Remember 2 seasons ago, he sat out 3 Parramatta games because he didn't want to pay a 4K fine.

Dude basically sat out on his teammates because of his 'personal stance'. He is the antithesis of what a Panthers Player is supposed to be.

Matterson would only work on a one year deal. Make him play for a contract elsewhere.

Why hasn't he been in the Parramatta Eels team? You'd hope it was easing him back from injury. While Parramatta have been a total disaster this year he has played 3 games in NSW cup alongside his mate Bryce Cartwright. Even this week he is back to 18th man.

The Galvin/Brown situation is going to see some action in the market. Matterson is an ideal player for Parramatta to release even if he doesn't want to play in the UK:

Finau Latu would be a great buy. The kid has a lot of potential and he is now free to talk to other clubs
