He isn't a bum. He has a odd personality and a weird cat it seems. But for 1.5yrs at 300k a season he is a great risk to take.
His defense is sublime. He can play lock,middle and edge.
I hope Ryles can patch things up becuase he walks into our best 17 and most clubs tbh.

Sure and that's why you'd be paying 300k for a guy who can play at a 500k+ level. If he wasn't a bit of a penaut he is 600k

I'm torn on the idea of Matterson. He's a good player at his best and getting cheap, value buys with other clubs chipping in freight is how you create/extend a premiership window (see Api). Also Parra being a basket case can exacerbate attitude problems. Taking the fine was an incredibly cat manoeuvre though, unprecedented even. The middle isn't really where we need strengthening either.

Yeah id take him for a year for cheap, be silly not to i think. Low risk, if we get some injuries he could be valuable if not park him on the bench or in cup.

Matterson is usually okay with that. Has an offload if we require it.

Just 1 year only. Make him compete for his money. A long term deal would not be the play.

He's not the type for a 1 year deal. He'll take a 3 or 4 year one in the UK

650k = NO but he is capable of a level of about a 500k forward stil for sure..
Ryles doesn't want him. Parra will chip in heaps. If worked out 300k MAX for rest of this year and 300k next then it's low risk. Even if he is average that's kinda what you'd be paying.
I do agree with what others have said though you probably need someone more explosive. Matto will help the defense

The side with Nath, Yeo and To'o. Those 3 are the generational players. Critter is close to pushing into that bracket but no one else is quite that good
