Lol.
You also seem to never be able to say anything good about a system that has put your favoured union-ised rail system to shame and tbh, embarrassed it with performance and reliability.
Oh well.

Oh dear. No further discussion about the adequacy of the 50cmx50cm standing space? Just harking back to old and unresolved discussions instead... but you do you.

I've already discussed that.
If you don't agree, so be it.
There were 30 trains that were at capacity in the past month.
It's hardly a problem.
Please provide any links to the fact capacity was a problem at the 50 x 50 cm allowance.
And please let me know what your party is proposing for any future metro?
That's right, there's nothing.
Absolutely beholden to your union.

My post was my opinion that 50cmx50cm isn't very comfy, in the calculations for capacity. I don't need a link for that - there were several photos in the article you posted, to which my comment related.

But here's a link that indicates humans need 64.77cm x 64.77cm of standing space (I've even done the conversion for you, from 25.5 inches.)

Huh? Nothing to do with the current conversation... perhaps you are emotionally triggered by the past in some way? But you do you - and I don't expect you'll reply rationally to the above standing space calculation (and link), or will just say something random about a union again to avoid it.

Continue to ignore the fact that Sydney metro is killing it and your complaints about space ratios has not been an issue.
If it is, then don't ever use it.

So despite providing you a link, you still can't admit that a 50cm x 50cm calculation for capacity isn't comfy... Nothing to do with anything else related to the Metro, just that one aspect you're unwilling to hear a different opinion on.

You do you Suity, and unless the Metro is built between two places that I want or need to go, then yes I may not end up using it. Doesn't mean I'm hoping for its downfall, or whatever other catastrophising you wish to ascribe to anyone who doesn't agree with you.

Yep.
Absolutely no way that the new Sydney Fish Market will become a tourist attraction as some clown suggested here recently.
Completely no chance of that happening.
Anyhow, another amazing piece of infrastructure that the previous govt instigated regardless of ignorant views.

In the meantime.....Enjoy.

I'm going there when it's finished, no wuckers about that.

And so will hundreds of thousands of others. Good on you.
I've said it before and will say it again.
It will be a massive tourist attraction.
The current joint is a dump and is still massively popular.
This place will blow it out of the water. No pun intended.

I agree. Just as long as they don’t price the seafood options out of the water. Pun intended.

I'll probably give it a skip on that basis alone, during the cost of living crisis. I don't think I'll be the only one if it's an expensive outing... perhaps lots of once only domestic visitors.
