In 1979, I spent Christmas and New Year with relatives in Jersey (not New Jersey, the one in the Channel Islands). Bought two singles with a gift token - Blondie "Union City Blue" and The Skids "Working For The Yankee Dollar".
To this day, cannot comprehend why Union City Blue only reached number 13. There must be a reason. The band were red hot during that period. A recording of Debs reciting the phone directory would have dented the charts.
