Its an opinion. For a player who has come over to Sl and looks very avg at best Im surprised he isnt keeping quiet. Is the game massive like in Two states of Australia? No. Does it have the best media covg it has ever had (every game live, FTA SL covg, streaming app)? Yes. Does it need better management? Undoubtedly. Does an Aussie player bludging a decent wage from it shtting in the bed help? Not really.

Think deeper.
Keary is a disciple of Uncle Nick.
Doing Nicks bidding for the Roosters buy, which involves the NRL buying in?

With respect to a club legend I wonder what Keary was expecting? He says there is no coverage but why would there be? Over in France they've got 2-3 fully professional soccer leagues with the top tier being one of the biggest in the world, Rugby Union is apparently big over there and I think they're big into basketball so that'd put League at 4th at best.

The coverage I see on Kayo of the Super League isn't bad at all in my opinion, very similar to the NRL, maybe he means that coverage is actually hard to access? I wouldn't know that but with Kayo it's pretty simple and the actual televised product isn't really all that different from the NRL.

I think the one thing Super League lacks when it comes to interest is star power, can't expect to get front page of the sports section when the league is pretty much a development league and retirement league for the NRL. Keary is probably the most reputable player in terms of achievements playing there right now and whilst he was a solid player he wasn't really ever a superstar of the league.

I think Roosters' should approach Oldham, Swinton AND Salford (red, blue and white). Outside option could be including Leigh as well.

İnvest in each taking an ownership percentage of each.

Then, out of these three a United Manchester team "Manchester Roosters" can be launched as a joint Manchester team.

- Each team retains its identity and heritage and play at either 2nd or 3rd tier.

- a clear pathway can then be created with a strong citywide team anchored at the top tier.

- present infrastructure and supporter bases can then be used for NRL Europe whilst retaining lower tier identities.

- İn my plan, Manchester Roosters would not enter challenge cup but rather all players would be dual registered and represent one of the three feeder clubs in the CC.

- At present Salfords stadium is the most central. Maybe some marquee games could be taken the Man City stadium (even if only 20 K were possible)

Been trying to keep on top of this story…doesn’t seem to be a lot of recent media around , particularly outside the Politis Manchester Roosters story …

Is this really a chance of happening ? Are the Poms really going to agree to hand over their competition to Australians to manage? Very unlikely in my opinion ..I think some of them would rather they go broke and die before they agree to that happening …

I thought it was just certain clubs investing in uk teams and not the NRL as a whole?

weren’t the dolphins supposed to be buying the London broncos as well?

Could a 2 divisional conference system in super league work?

English conference of 10 teams plays 18 regular season games twice against other teams in the same conference both home&away.

french conference of 4 teams again playing other teams twice from the same conference both home&away giving you 6 regular season rounds along with cross divisional games against English conference sides both home&away giving you an additional 20 regular season rounds.

in total that would give you 26 regular season rounds for all teams in both conferences with the top 3 from the English conference and the team that tops the French conference qualifying for the playoffs which would be a straight knockout semi-final then grand final format.

french teams for the French conference could be Paris, Catalan, Toulouse and Marseille/Lyon/bordeaux.

1. there aren't 4 viable french team options
2. UK clubs hate playing french clubs as it impacts revenue
3. A 14 team 26 round SL is just fine

Nice attempted slur there...

Two states of Australia AKA 55% of the population with a solid foothold in Melbourne and reasonably popular in NZ
