Considering his age, speed, ability and potential to grow, he'd walk if we offered him 700s. 800s is his fair market value I feel. The fact that he seems of great character and positive towards our club, Im okay with him getting 900s.

Im pretty sure it will be a Reynolds v Cobbo scenario. If all three are kept, the NRL auditors will need to put the microscope on them.

It IS a very tough call to make. Ben Hunt is not the playmaker Renno is. Renno will take some sort of paycut to stay as he seems to want to stay in the Brisbane area. But, there is the youth and potential of Cobbo.

I don't pretend to have a clear cut answer on who to go for here. If I were to have a pick, I'd have a lean towards keeping Cobbo.

I think Nov 1 this year is for players coming off contract at the end of '26...if they're coming off contract '25 then they have been on the market since Nov 1 last year.
