Melbourne put 30+ on most teams today but sheesh that was a piss poor performance

I’d be sacking Lachie Galvin and that edge immediately and bringing Fainu, T’oa (hopefully) straight back in
Can't argue with that. That was tragic. It makes our previous thrashings look better as we supposedly have a better team atm.

I worry about Luai’s leadership here.. if he has backed off for this week.. subconsciously ?
They sounded chill before the game and the media vid of the fan looking for a selfie with them .. didn’t look good

While we got flogged today, I don't think it will or should define our season.
We are 5 and 5 with 17 games to play, that includes 3 byes.
We have to be and have shown we are better than this, still a long way to go.
I'll remain confident for a while yet.
You sound like a slow learner.

Hello darkness, my old friend!

The reality check has taken a while in coming....but here it is!!!! We will not come within a bulls roar of the top 8. We have DEFINITELY improved as a footy side, no question about it. But my f**k, we still have a long way to go before we are top 8 worthy. We have better cattle but we ultimately just don't have the depth to make the 8. EVERY team will have injury this year and our injury toll has not been bad at all.
Just a few notes

*Turuva: Bloody good talent but Im having a few concerns about his state of mind. Ever since the Galvin thing, he has been a tool on the field a few times since then. He needs a bit of a talking to.....we need him and need him in a good state of mind.

*Naden.......any bit of goodwill towards him has evaporated. Time for him to shake hands with the reserve grade coach.

*Staines. Lets not have that tool in the centres if we can help it again.

*Galvin: the Michael Hancock of five-eights! Parra will be loving this in a way because his value is falling by the game. I know a Parra fan who genuinely thinks he is the best under 20 player he has ever seen. Yes, he is serious......lol.

Luai: Not much halves can do in that type of game....but my concern about him is building.

May: For the first time as a tiger, he looked human in attack. He still made plenty of tackles....but once again for the first time in his Wests Tigers career......he had plenty of misses and falling off tackles as well. As a poster said earlier, we need to save him from himself and give him and Pole less minutes.

Richo, I hope you have a good amount for forwards signed for 2026.....we need them badly.

While the result was devastating, you still only miss the 2 points, whether you lose by 4 or 64. The only thing it hurts is our points differential, I still believe we are in a reasonable position to go forward.

The eternal optimist, good on you Tm.
I'm following the Zillmere Zebras, at least until we start winning again ;)

Don't buy their T-shirt then, we'll back next week.
Yes, I am optimistic, we are 5 & 5, yes we had a shocker, but we are doing better than a few fancied teams and I see no reason why we can't continue at this stage.
In past seasons, I gave up after the first 5 rounds.
There is a long way to go.

A public stoning is in order.

Alright then, how about a simple public stocks shaming.
