I'd say give Laurie 1 last chance at 14 but Ivan either doesn't know how to use him or doesn't trust him.

Yeah, it's sort of funny how we have all forgotten about him in the #14 convo. He can cover #1, #6 and wing offers more flexibility than Sommerton, Trent and even Cole.

Of those 4 options Laurie comes last when it comes to defence/forward cover.

Its Toelau or Schneider for the foreseeable future. We've been running it that way since Cleary copped a HIA in round 3 against Melbourne. Its a question of cover and Ivan wants it for the 7.

Our own Connor Watson might eventually be Jack Cole. He is the guy I'd invest time into for long-term. Either that or bring back Tyrone May...

Cole can cover centre and halfback as well as Laurie plays wing. Effectively he covers 4,6,7 and you can trust him a lot more defending at 9 or 13 if that was required.

Or Zack Lamont for the 14 role. He can play halves, hooked and could probably even slot into the back line too if need be

Zack Lamont is a good shout, doesnt get talked about much but ive noticed when he plays in a team flegg or cupp they usually win, he has been playing 6,7 and 9 pretty well across both grades this year.

Cole is the best utility option in the club he could cover any position in the bckline as well as lock or hooker. If we don't use him we will lose him to a rival club and his potential will shine.Talagi is a good 6 and he will only get better. At least if cole is on the bench ivan won't be scared to use him and we will actually have a 17 man squad we will fully use.

Last time i saw them both play in the same game they looked pretty similar, Hokfanu is a bit older and plays prop not edge. Might not be his brother but hopefully still a good prospect. Havent got to watch him for a at least a year. tho. Played plenty of Flegg last year. Tbh id be keeping him around just in case baby bro gets homesick.

The bro must be good if he's going to French rugby and you want to keep the brother just in case.

The bro looks like young kikau out on the edge, i actually thought they were twins initially when i saw them in HM but Heinz is younger which makes him pretty impressive. If the older wasnt at least a half decent prospect i wouldnt bother but hopefully he is a lot better than that.

Hopefully it's not a Christian/Stephen type talent gap. Still think one of those 2 was adopted.

Its a lower standard and a far easier career, by going this way it says a lot about him

It says he likes money like us all mate geez you're harsh. You telling me a french billionaire started throwing money at you as a teen that you would really be more concerned with taking less money to go a harder rout??

Not being harsh it's easier on your body and you certainly don't need to be as fit. Good on him for cashing in, I never expect players to love the club and sport like us lunatics do.
