We really look on tonight so far, and the Knights look well off.

But we've had all the ball to, wasted chances and should be much further in front.

Lomax makes a big difference, he's been enormous. I think only one player on the field scores the Lomax try with that pass he got.

If the possession changes around we'll see how well we go.

It’s very flattering to the Knights. We’ll open them up in 2nd half I think.

That would require some of our blokes to develop joints in their fingers over the half time break so that they might be able to catch or hold the ball. Don’t count on it.

I think I agree with you. I had some hope for Kit Kat but he’s shit and as a good judge said, his runs for a man his size are soft.

Even that second try was scored in spite of, not because of, the quality of the Penisini pass. It’s sad but Russell has gone far ahead of Penisini on terms of the quality of our centre stocks now. What a shame that Bailey is injured again, we could’ve given Penisini a spell that he (and the team) desperately needs.

Where did your hope come from? He ran fairly hard in the trials, but he deadset couldn’t hold the ball. It’s literally the most fundamental skill in the game and he can’t do it. He’ll never be a first grader’s bootlace, and yet we’re persisting with him. I truly don’t get it.

I can actually see some promise in him, he needs a bit of time to develop but I wouldn’t be giving up on him yet. I’ve been a fan of Penisini but I’m coming around to the fact it’s probably time to cut our losses there. He just keeps making stupid mistakes.

We had a good overlap and Walker just ran the ball up on the 5th (we won the captain challenge so it was first tackle) Maybe that was part of the reason ? A good opportunity lost ?

Then again Penisini has done way worse and will play the 80 and get picked next week

Definitely agree with the latter point, but just don’t see Kautoga ever being a genuine first grader I’m afraid.

Take out all the errors and maybe he’s an ok back up option except for the fact that there is no physicality in his game at all
