Even if you want to compare off-field stuff Inglis isn't far behind Hayne either.

If only the stand down rule applied in 2009 he wouldn't have played in the Grand Final that year. Instead of a 2 week rest a month before the finals.

Then you have the drink driving charge where Toddy G gave him a reference for.

Inglis is a grub. Then he hid behind mental illness for his shit behaviour.

They too are listed on his wikipedia page.... you can look them up and post them if you disagree

I consulted it, but Hayne's accomplishments just didn't compare to Inglis, tbh.

the only thing Inglis has over hayne is 2 premierships which 1 should be null and void due to his club cheating against a team that just so happen to have hayne it…

in terms of individual awards his 2 x Dally M player of the year awards trumps any individual award that Inglis may have received.

I am just waiting for what side @Poupou Escobar will take here.

Majority on think Hayne is better then Inglis which normally leads to pou taking up the opposite

But his nemesis Phantom is playing the Pou role perfectly in the Hayne chat.

Surely he can't find get splinters sitting on the fence.
Phantom is blinded with hatred for Hayne. Pou is a contradiction of terms.

Hayne was better than Inglis, who was also very good. Inglis was stronger, and probably had a better motor. Hayne was superior in everything else.

Inglis had a terrible motor by the time he got to Souths. He was a slug for 90% of the game but then would bob up with a big play re Latrell, not a knock but that was the style of player he was.

Hayne’s motor wasn’t great either but if you broke it down I’m sure you would find Hayne would have had more touches/involvements/run metres per game than Inglis.

In your opinion, and it's ok for people to disagree. I actually rate Inglis' awards stash a fair bit higher than Hayne's.

I think Inglis will be remembered for making a bigger impact on the game than Hayne.

The basic issue which probably proves how good Hayne was compared to Inglis is to simply look at their team mates. Hayne played with a team substantially inferior to Inglis and managed to drag them to a GF. Inglis rode on the coat tails of a team assembled somewhat dubiously.

Individually Hayne lapped Inglis for speed, passing, kicking etc, only leaping for a high ball was he possibly worse. Hayne dominated a couple of SOO too.
