Interesting reading that. I think I used to get more emotionally invested in individual player movements, less so now.
Even if we signed Payne Haas I’d probably be like ‘oh that’s interesting, let’s see how that goes’.

That’s what we said about Foran. We’ve all
been burnt so many times - I’m old enough to remember Bob Lindner coming to us as a Kangaroo and doing SFA. Dykes, Justin Poore, Lee Mossop, Nathan Barnes, Adam Ritson all got us excited only to end up as disappointments (not always the fault of the player obviously)
