You arent this dumb

regionals ARE included in all reporting - including VOZ - particularly since the introduction of VOZ. Its ALL inclusive - metro, regional and bvod
Yes he is this dumb. He’s bordering on WB1234 dumb

sigh. I thought that was clearly sarcasm. Ive reported regionals whenever the data was available since 2013. The media havent always done so, but that doesnt mean the data doesnt exist.

In any case, it has absolutely always been included in my weekend posts since VOZ was introduced April 30, 2023.
Good luck with this dimwit mate.

And yet dimwits are saying the 20th NRL team shouldn’t be in NZ but instead needs to be in QLD because the AFL is ‘taking over’
There isn’t a single metric which indicates the afl is taking over in QLD. Future expansion clearly should be into new markets. But your little mate WB has been stating the opposite for years.

I would say on the GC the Suns are spending a lot more money than the Titans and seem to be winning out over them (maybe not "taking over").
Also as a metric the big crowds the Lions are getting - not far behind the Broncos and bigger on average than the Dolphins.
Also just influence within the government and decision making on stadiums for example the decision to build a 63k stadium that will in reality mainly be for AFL. Getting big money spent on that ground in Ipswich.
The AFL would be making inroads (certainly not "taking over").

Not even close mate, even on the Gold Coast. You just need to scratch the surface below NRL and AFL level on the GC to see it's a Rugby League city. AFL have the fumblers expat crowd, RL has the born and bred locals. It also has to be said that the overwhelming majority of people on the Gold Coast don't care much for sport at all.

As far as stadiums go, AFL have the benefit of hiding behind Cricket and Olympics for their upgrades, something RL needs to learn... Hide behind the Socceroos, Matildas and big Union events to justify the strategic upgrades we want.

Gold Coast is rugby league heartland

Two of the best junior schools in Australia are in their territory

Afl tv ratings in nsw and qld have collapsed from their boom times

The sport has been over saturated in nsw and qld and largely been rejected

The real hope is the afl are so desperate to make gws a strong team that it ends up splitting support for the swans

Gold Coast has two of the best schools in the country for league players

And actual juniors not Auskick bs

Dolphins in terms of crowds and members aren’t far off the lions and the lions have been around forever

Lucky gillon McLaughlin left his job and didn’t have to hang around to justify his bs claims

like when nrl regional data is missing?
Exactly

Or when they didn’t count Telstra digital numbers

He was posting for years nine ratings were down and pay tv ratings were flat

He was sure of it

Then they released the Telstra digital numbers are turns out pay numbers were up strongly

He’s always quick to make excuses for poor afl numbers but happy to draw negative conclusions about rugby league from an incomplete data set

I wont apologise for not making up data to suit you.

You are quick to make excuses when afl does poorly

You ran a false narrative for years about nrl tv ratings when you didn’t have all the facts

Nz you confidently claimed games were averaging under 50k when the real figure was multiples higher

That’s why I’m happy to provide another data source

Given NZ is not a RL heartland and has a population of around 5 million, it doesn't make sense that there ratings would be "multiples" higher than 50k.

In fact 50k would be an amazing rating on a per capita basis, when compared to Australia.

Its amazing how you see what yuou want to.

No I didnt. I have always indicated it was based on available data. if data wasnt available or there wasnt enough to make a calculation, I didnt just straight up make stuff up just to appease Leagueunlimited.

You cant preach about false narratives, you drive the damn things around here.

NZ no one had ratings until the NRL posted them (and Im still not sure they arent reach based given Sky almost always releases reach data only) - and you ran for almost a year on a false narrative regarding them, despite them being clearly marked as reach in the articles YOU linked.

I dont have an issue with your other source most of the time - and I refer people to him all the time if they prefer a rugby league slant on everything. Your data source doesnt have an issue with retweeting me now - hes literally done it for months - or accessing my data for years. And you know why? Because we all use the same data.

We know nz is 13.7 million

If you exclude that figure that’s on you

When you didn’t have the Telstra digital data you shouldn’t have made claims about nrl tv ratings being flat on pay tv

I’ve read your comments for close to a decade

You keep saying people want you to lie nobody is saying that at all

Ritchie probably quotes you now cause you had him blocked before lol

Its official data, so I wont be, but I can still query it. Thanks.

Telstra digital wasnt counted as STV ratings through Oztam, and they simply were not available. And I have always been clear on it.

I’ve read your comments for close to a decade

its a pity you havent understood them

You keep saying people want you to lie nobody is saying that at all

People have complained for some time that I wouldnt make wild stabs in the dark at ratings information that didnt exist due to a lack of data points to make any inference. You chief amongst them.

Ritchie probably quotes you now cause you had him blocked before lol

He had me blocked a lot longer lol. Nevertheless the point stands, your source uses the same source I do, just framed in a way you prefer. and thats fair enough
