How can the nrl allow him to sign for 750k when the tigers offered him 1 million pa

Why lose sexton Galvin is a six anyway no way he plays seven

Technically the Tigers offer was never registered with the NRL.

So it can't count.

Galvin's camp they can say never saw an offer because they asked the Tigers to not bother.

To be fair he has never really been in a position where he had to. He is big enough, just a question of whether he has the motor.

Big question marks on his ability to organise the defence as well. He hasn't shown a heap in organisation in general for a half, different shit at as a fullback, but still a similar style role.

There was talk of him getting a shot at Fullback with us if he didn't go to the Dogs, so there must be something there that is worth a look.

The third kicking option from that position is pretty juicy though. Also he runs a hole well, so chiming into a backline movement from the back would pay off pretty well.

He's never used his size in contact in defence or attack though.

Just isn't a player who hunts the collision.

Which is required for the Pantherball style Ciraldo wants to run.

His physical attributes would allow him to be a Wade G style back rower but he isn't a power player.

Pound for pound his tackling is pretty poor too.

It's a shame he hasn't evolved from great line runner with an all time boot in three and a half seasons in the halves.

The closest comparison as a player IMO is Jamie Lyon. Except Lyon hated playing at six

I'd like him back with a plan to transition him to 13 when the worlds greatest Human moves up front. But all your above points would be the issue. He has the attributes, but if the desire isn't there, then it will never work.

I don't see how it's an issue if one team sees him as $1m but another sees him at $750k. There are always going to be desperate clubs who pay more, or the Warriors who have to pay more to get people to move countries.

Yeah Gus is awful with the cap. He'll always grab the shiny new toy
Which is interesting, because he accused the Roosters of exactly that a few weeks ago with DCE.

And I don't see how them signing Galvin is all too different from DCE. They already have an NRL class five-eighth in Burton, who is 25. They have Mitchell Woods who apparently travels with the NRL side and they are grooming to be their long-term 7. Connor Treacy is doing a great job at the back - he's not a superstar, but No.1s like him (also read Will Kennedy) seem to get unfairly compared with Dylan Edwards, Teddy, Papi etc when they're doing solid jobs.

So Galvin comes in, and whilst he's shown signs at NRL level he's nowhere near a proven quality, and rearranges that whole spine that has them on top of the table. Burton has to go to fullback because Xerri and Critta are flat-out guns, then either Galvin plays with Sexton or you have two greenhorns in Galvin and Woods.

Gus knows more than me but it's a really interesting situation

Doubt he’s staying this year with all the boos he’s getting

Club would be worried about a potential lawsuit for his working environment

Rlpa already has approached the club about it

Isaac Moses has gotten exactly what he wanted

Burton would make a good target for the Perth bears since the dogs don’t see him as a six and how desperate Perth and png will be for halves

Maybe a swap for him and Burton?
