Cory Allen made a fabulous defensive play to stop Kontoni Staggs from a near certain try late in the game yesterday. Drove Staggs over the sideline with power and determination. Cory has a touch of class about him and adequate speed.

Yes this! I definitely want to send some good vibes Corey's way.. I will say there was 1or2 moments where there was an open left edge and you could just see Val realising it was pointless to pass it left with poor Corey struggling to keep up... but... been a while since Ive seen one of our wingers nail some 1on1 tackles like that.. and some impressive bomb leaping too.. timed it well.. legs up for protection.. his hitups were decent.... good on him.. seems more comfortable in his 2nd game..

I mean still probably being replaced once CT returns.. or he plays ctr if Val cant backup or heaven forbid gets injured in origin.. but kinda glad hes hung around now.. especially as Sione Finau seems like hes just not in our plans...

He’s doing a great job playing centre in cup even though he is a second rower. Good size, speed, defensively strong, and goes hard with the ball. Be great to see the kid who is a genuine St George junior go through all the way from pre Matt’s and debut at Kogarah vs Newcastle. Be an amazing story

Start Leilua. Bring in Sele for the unfortunate injured Egan so we have an extra prop. Sele is ready to play and seems as though he's recovered from his injury. Wouldn't mind playing young Jacob Halangahu as he's our future long term backrower.

Good, he is a huge liability in defence. Robbo should keep him as cover during the origin period anyway.

I'm more worried about fletcher sharpe at fullback, the kid will destroy us based on current form. Knights play more as a team without ponga so hopefully he backs up on friday and pushes sharpe back to 6.

Knights weren't that great.
One player I can't stand is Gamble he is a park footballer, remember him playing for Wests in NSW cup.

No RFM in cup today. Seems to be a trend when they withdraw they’ll be in first grade week after.
I think RFM is the safer option to replace Egan with so many young players already in the squad
