this smacks of Gould's grubby little fingers all over it from the start.
I would not be surprised if he got in the kids head and convinced him that he was unhappy at the Tigpies.
He better perform or Gould will spit him out every quicker than he got him

As an Eels fan I am not too worried about this.
I am not even going to let the Phil 'little finger' Gould aspect get to me. I would like him out of the media though.

we lost a lot of juniors cause they thought Galvin was staying
we are just lucky that Latu didnt end up asking out at the start of the year
Latu is also on 500k a year

might have something to do with it .. we took a massive gamble with him and so far it hasn’t paid off

anyways from all reports Luai has always preferred Latu over Galvin so let’s hope it works out

Dogs and Galvin seem like a weird match from both points of view. Allthough I’m having a chuckle at the cocky eels fans who have been getting 6. Galvin jerseys made up they seem like a much better fit. He does seem like the type of guy who thinks he deserves to walk into a premiership heavyweight.

Gus and Isaac, a snake and a snake doing business, surprised they trusted each other to get it done.

I don’t really have anything against Lachie, but I don’t wish the guy well either. Am interested to see how this plays out, it has a bit of a Hayne to Titans feel to me.

The perception of non-Tiger fans around the NRL about the way the Tiger fans feel is so off the mark. Yes....some were sad that he wanted to go when the new broke out. Now, I cannot think of a single Tiger fan that is not happy that this saga is done. Im also happy with the result of where he is going.

Im satisfied that he is not going to Parra because of the cocky behaviour of many involved with that club assuming that they already had him on the books.
Im happy he is going to the Dogs because it already creates important changes to a club that is doing well. A very talented back or half will be out the door come the end of the year. If they don't win it, blame will fall on Galvin's shoulders.

Reminds me a bit of when the Raiders lost Milf to a shonky Broncos deal.

The silver lining was Bennett filled him full of pies and ruined his career entirely.

It gives me Mitch Moses sour taste vibes the way Lachie is leaving, more so because of the way he pretty much shat on our season.

I’d be very surprised if he reaches the heights the media pump him up to be, to me he’ll have a long serviceable nrl career with maybe one or two origin cameo appearances off the bench or something

King on $400k will want an upgrade foe playing origin. Sexton/Burton/Galvin don’t fit.
Leo Thompson on some coin for moving to the Dogs. This will get interesting if Burton is pushed out
Not to mention Hayward and then Woods.

Overrated lil twerp is about to destabilize the Dogs.
I hope so and it has every bit of potential to do so. There are a few ex-Penrith players that may take a while to take to Galvin. Burton would have to feel a bit pissed off as rightly or wrongly, Galvin is viewed by his own club as a better 6 than him. I personally think he is a better centre anyway....but I bet he is not happy with this move, particularly as it is a mid-season one. If all are fit (which the key backs seem to be) a very good player will be playing reserve grade.

Sonny-Bill Williams aside, I cannot think of a young talent which generated as much hate around the league community in such a short career as Galvin. Even SBW has mates at the dogs.....Im not sure Galvin will have many from Tiger town. Thing is, even with SBW, a lot of league fans have not forgiven what he did at the Dogs to this day. It has not 100% left him.

He is making a lot of enemies very quickly.

Being serious I’m glad we didn’t sign him

I’ve been telling people ITRW I didn’t rate him and was a huge risk to sign him long term on big money

give me DCE on 2yrs over Galvin on 5years

Warning, Westmead high care mental health unit states Rhyno went into a heightened state of delusional behaviour today. Keep your distance and alert authorities. Do not enter discussion with him.
