Yeah agreed. There’s really very little difference between what he calls ruck interference vs what he lets go, which tells me he could be letting a fair bit more go without really affecting too much.

I said early on that he had big Main Character energy today and he proved that, especially the way he twice lectured Tapine without letting him respond, then told him to go away when he had a question. We don’t want the game to be slowed down too much I know, but surely the captain is entitled to ask at least one question?

People praised him for his handling of the Panthers vs Broncos grand final, but that’s because he literally put away his whistle. What we’re seeing today is the REAL Adam Gee, and it’s not a pretty sight.

What happened in 2024? Gee was riding on being easily the number 1 referee in the game but was swiftly replaced in the big games for Mr Game Manager, Ashley Klein. It's a mystery to me to this day. Did Gee lose confidence because of that or was it some sort of shitbaggery from powerbrokers behind the scenes?
