Good story in todays papers that will upset the heels supporters where are you Hindy your son buster has signed with us .must be a good kid the dogs chased him as well.if he can be close to talent as his dad we have a good one

He never made the Eels squad. But same as Cayless boys who are st Roosters they don't want the whole nepotism to surround them. I'd say this is the reason.

Let's deal with that when it never happens because it won't
Sadly, I think this is the correct answer.

As much as Burton/Cleary combo is something to fantasise over, we have bigger problems in other areas of the squad anyway.

Need 2 powerful forwards. Even if they can only play 20-30 each

Was around the juniors as Buster came through, and have watched him often at the Bears. Eels are stocked with backrowers in juniors and he would need to improve 50% to get close to selection, wasn’t a permanent in the side at Norths. Hope the Panthers can get him to the level required, good story for the press though.

Yeah I've heard Buster isn't that great also.
I have a good feeling about some of the kids we have coming through. My worry is MON is a bean head and how many go elsewhere.
It's one thing not to pay overs but we lost D.Brown,Blaize and bummed out on Galvin. In the space of what 9mths?
Something not right

Do we have any large forwards coming through we seem to have small frame bodies .Considering the high islander population

That's Hasset to me looked like a half decent prospect.
Mclean is going to be great just needs time.

I've said for a while L.Smith is a toiler. You missed JFH big time.

The Dogs are giving Mahoney permission to look elsewhere.

This is what Gus does best.Signs guys on lengthy contracts and when so things better is available he flicks them.
Players salaries should be made public. As much as people say our salaries aren't public they kind of are. You only have to jump on seek.com to see what each job/profession pays approximately.

Apparently Galvin's deal at Dogs is under 750k for first two years and only the 3rd reaches 750k.
Do fans accept this is above board? He turned down 800k offer from Eels and a supposed 1.1mill deal from Tigers.
I call bullshit. There would be TPAs bumping his deal right up. For a professional sport it's got some embarrassing loop holes
