They didn't stand a chance against Gus. Gus whispered sweet nothings about the silverware-laden future he'll have at the Dogs, the money he'll make next contract, the great times they'll have and so on. Tigers offered $1m+ a year, Eels probably close, but they don't have Gus.

Nek minnit Gus goes to Perth.

Tbh, Parra Mahoney was a better hooker than Robson IMO. At least in attack. His issue is the way the Dogs have got him playing and everyone rightly hates the little merkin for it. If a coach can get that back out of him he'll be a decent signing for someone. If not he's a liability.

Obviously he had the germ in him to be able to bring t out so easy, so it's a big ask.

I've never rated him. A penalty and error machine. Couldn't understand why the dogs bought him when they had jmk.

Reading recent stories, seems that Gould sold the idea of the Dogs team first and premiership to the Galvin camp 12months ago. The Galvins and everone else did not see Dylan moving and opening up the 5/8 spot. Looks like it was too late to change snd possibly Moses sold the idea of the Eels to muddy the water. Even may have considered that move, but Gus wasn’t to be denied and who knows what else happened.

Hence the last minute , unforeseen signing, classics manipulation and has happened with a few Gus signings. Oh well , see how it plays out ,never been a 7 even at school level from what I remember and could have played foil to Mitch, interesting watch from this point.
