After all this Im not even sure you understand what you are talking about. YES we know its a cumulative ratings figure, that is clearly labeled on the graph - and I have come to the light that its aggregated average ratings (or cumulative).

As is the fact that it includes ALL competitions, not just the NRL mens season and finals. I mean its literally written there on the bottom of the graph. Skys Media rights deal includes all of the mens and womens seasons live, and they broadcast the Pacific championships and Origins.

Reach. Something we arent allowed to mention when it comes to the AFL, but if its NZ you are prepared to take giant leaps of ignorance for.

I know plenty about Tasmanian ratings, what would you like to know?
Yeh so I was right and you were just talking bollocks

Remember when you said that figure was reach and you were going to meet with the guy who wrote the article and get him to admit that

lol

I admitted that i was wrong about it being cumulative reach last night...several pages back. It happens.

It doesnt change the fact that your interpretation of the data is also incorrect

I said i thought the figure was reach - not an unreasonable assumption, as sky typically only release reach, and even the NZRU report only has reach data. I was never going to meet with him, I was going to ask the articles author to clarify for me. Not get him to admit anything, just clarify the source material.

well in this case its the none who wrote the article, so yeah I will, mostly because he will be able to confirm the source data.

I dont think they are at an average level, but hey im only basing that off every other piece of data we have from Sky that is reach based.

I said that in regard to Foxtel only.

That doesnt make them right. It makes it what they want it to be. The NRL NEED it to be a relative stat. YOU need it to be a relative stat.

AFL data largely tallies with that provided by stadium owning governing bodies. So Ill take two sources against your feelings.

Remember this wookie ?

Guess you couldn’t make it to that coffee date hey ?

Wow vlad will be in a meltdown lol

And warriors games can rate as high as all blacks games. So no way is that 500k figure AT TIMES a reach figure

almost every time a Warriors game has had a ratings citation in the last two years it has come with a reach note.

From Round 9 last year

After nine rounds of the competition almost 1.59 million New Zealanders have enjoyed matches on Sky Sport and free-to-air on Sky Open, a lift of 14% year-on-year.
The One New Zealand Warriors’ matches are the most popular so far with the match against the Raiders on March 22 attracting an audience of 469,800 people with a further 63,800 viewers streaming on Sky Sport Now and Sky Go.

The Warriors v Sharks match on March 8 was the second most popular with 461,100 people watching and more than 64,280 streaming while Warriors v Sea Eagles contest came in third with 433,800 people watching and nearly 74,500 streaming.

We know this was reach, because the Warriors lists the data source: Nielsen eTAM AP05+, Data: Cumulative reach, NRL 2023 & 2024, Sky Sports 1-4 & Sky Open

From Round 1 this year

The NRL kicked off with much fanfare in Vegas, and Warriors fans tuned in in huge numbers for their initial game, with 402k people watching the Raiders v Warriors match from Las Vegas on Sky and free-to-air on Sky Open. A further 91k watched on Sky Go and 64k on Sky Sport Now.

We know this was reach, because Sky notes it in the footnotes.

And in Round 6 this year

The NRL, has already commanded 1.2 million viewers on Sky Sport and Sky Open across the opening six weeks of the season, during which time Sky Sport Now’s audience has grown by 4% to more than 201,000, and Sky Go’s has risen by 13% to over 196,000.

The Warriors’ meeting with the Melbourne Storm attracted an audience of 349,000 live on Sky Sport 1 and live-to-delayed on Sky Open, just under 102,000 on Sky Sport Now, and just over 60,000 on Sky Go.

No melt down here mate. Just laughing at you and your fanboy prissiness over ratings. Wookie owns you endlessly on this thread. I just cheer along for the fun of it.
