Our attack has been a disaster for 5 years now

Until we get our attack right we are going to lose games consistently. Benji needs to get this right.

Sutton ruins every contest. Both sin bins were 50/50 at best, I can live with the Luai one but the Batemen one was a penalty at best

There was no way the Doueihi binning was even a penalty. That was a joke on us.

Over Luai’s rubbish stepping and sideways running, I know he’s having a go and its ok every now and then but it’s an illustration how we keep running away from a game plan, it destroys an attacking structure for subsequent plays. Terrible

Mmmm..Glad someone mentioned it. Must be a different sideways running technique to nofo?
I don’t think Luai can help himself with that sideways run, it’s like a twitch. .nothing ever comes if it tho ..at least nofo found the gap on occassion..

The trouble for me is, we lose so many games that we should have won.
Because we find new reasons every week to shoot ourselves in the foot.

It's really f**ken bad. We have the cattle to compete but they don't play smart footy over the course of the game. We are mentally weak in that we go to pieces so easily when we get bad calls against us.

We rarely get the 50/50 calls with the ref, regardless we do shoot ourselves in the foot a lot of the time, that first 65 minutes of one out rubbish needs to stop, it fools no body and only assist the oppositions energy levels.
The WT don't have a huge dominant pack that steam rolls and intimidate other teams, so its crucial that they change to a style of play that has players in motion a minimum of 3 out of the 6 tackles in a set.That final 15 minutes comeback last night showed this clearly.
Teams like Parra and Easts who were both written off before the start of the season are both playing this way and are surprising people with their results.
Every team has gone down the road of block plays and structured sets to the point of being predictable, the differences with the good teams in recent years however like the Storm and Panthers apart from talent is that they also have players in motion a majority of the time rather just being one out which the WT are guilty of continually .

Spot on. We are an ill disciplined team and I don't just mean players getting sent off. We don't handle adversity well and we go to pieces.

We need to either be better coached of execute better. It's also something we need to do all game.

I bagged Benji for carrying Naden on the bench, and Naden’s stats yesty do not give me any reason to change my mind. In saying that, with some changes to his game, Naden could probably be a handy edge backrower, his defence and fitness would need to improve.

We're really missing Pole..cant get him.back quickly [email protected] was very impressed by 19 year old Mason's effort and believe he'll soon enough become a player as much in demand as TDS.. He nearly won it for us when he poked his head through but couldn't quite get his pass up to Api who would have been away ( again)
