He most certainly played well today. One of his best this season
But we were discussing his 5th tackle kick options, on which I commented. Nothing more, so don't do a Pou on me.
nah, nah, won't do a Pou. he has done some good kciks. Moses scored one last week I think.

But i still think he should run it. At worse, he is tackled in the 15m zone and the opposition has to ruck it out from there

Cleary showed why he is the premier halfback.
Moses can't do that week in week out.

And if we don't get a experienced 6, Moses needs to handle the ball more like Cleary does next year
Moses saved his worst for the best opposition, unfortunately that’s his burden, no next gear like the very best

My only criticism for the game is that if Papalii was brought on to play hooker surely he was also told to run...1 run from memory and got clipped high but play on from Gough.
Not that I for one bit blame Gough at all but gee he let them off for holding on too long and being offside regularly...
Anyhow I think our record under him is pretty atrocious...
I'm a fan of Samrani but thought he got caught out a few times and his runs whilst making some really good ones there were some poor ones too..
Lomax maybe one too many carries as well...
Moses I think was gassed as that kick towards the end was very underwhelming.
Signs are pretty good just need more patience, experience and desire to win.
Looked like Penrith really wanted it more at the end..

You dont see Moses do what clear does. Runs in and double pumps or really slow the play or fein 1 way and go the other.

He is more dig in and use his pace and throw it or go himself.

He is not as deceptive as Cleary or Katoa for that matter.

Dwalker has that decepton but doesnt have speed anymore.

Dwalker is playing more like Jason Smith the more I watch him.

It was good to see Papalii chopping down some forwards in the middle

Feel like the wind was knocked out of our sails with that awful Brown kick on the last in their 20 that went straight to Cleary. Poor option, poor kick chase, and we had nothing left in the tank afterwards.

Disappointing result but some promising signs. Iongi is still a bit inconsistent but he’s coming along. I remain not a fan of Kautoga.
Kautoga went one step back today

One major disappointment was Panfers looked fresher than us, how does that work when they had 5 reps to our 2 ?
They know how to pace themselves and when to suck in the big ones and they are mentally stronger and push on.

They also have experience and the panfers know how to get them reenergize.

They were the first to introduce the meter eating back 5 so their forwards can rest

Couldn't be bother checking right now, enjoying a red...but suspect just yeo and Cleary have more games combined maybe even close to double then what all our players have ...
@emjaycee had to check....

ok, clearly and yeo have 30 origin games combined (15 each)...a lock and a half, who touch the ball the most....

we have 40 games combined, that's with Paulo's 11 a prop and JAC 15 a winger....

One thing about Ryles is I love his interchanging.

As I watch the game, i say, i Reckon it's time for xxx to come on and moments later, he's on.
Everyone gets a run not like Brad who benched poor merkins for the whole game. confidence killer was our Brad
