He’s not a dud but he is a fairly late bloomer and I don’t expect a high ceiling for him. Do you?
He could have a high ceiling. He has a high work rate, very good off loader and played origin in his second season of first grade. He needs to cut out the handling errors and missed tackles under fatigue to get there.

I didn't say he's better, I said he has more upside. I literally said Iongi is the better player right now. Maybe even next year too, and potentially for his entire career.

Though I doubt it.

He was pretty damn good in his first season with us. Most of the criticism is recency bias. Let’s hope it’s just a poor run of form instead of a terminal decline.
It's the way he was used. He was a focal point of the attack, in a year where a couple of our best forwards (and Dylan Brown) were unavailable a lot of the time. But we also played very risky footy that year (and the next), going from one of the best at set completion (2021-22) to one of the worst.

Don't be sorry, I'm sorry for you and all the splinters you must have in your groinal region from perpetually sitting on the fence and adding net zero (probability) value.
It makes me sad that you don't value my contribution but hopefully I can give someone out there a better understanding of probability and determinism in rugby league. We know Weidler isn't going to write about it. Because he knows the market.

Fair enough.
but hopefully I can give someone out there a better understanding of probability and determinism in rugby league.
I'd say the probability of that is... unlikely.
We know Weidler isn't going to write about it. Because he knows the market.
Who? Who cares.... Are you setting yourself up as the forum's alternative to Danny Weidler... Dunny Weirdo, perhaps?
