Yes, and so do other teams in the competition!

Isn't that what the salary cap was designed for? So, I'm not sure, a random concept of the competition being fair?

It will not be long before some say What is the point of even watching if you support a poorer team?

Gus was talking about their sc situation so what I wrote was from what he said



“We were about $700,000 under the cap and there was another $900,000 we paid to players to leave, and then we had several players who did not play a game this year and that took up another million or so, so we were close to $3 million under the cap," Gould said.”

Aside from the $700k that all counts under the cap. So not "at least 1 million" at all

Nah when the contracts they were paying for players at other clubs expired they saved that too

How do you think they signed Galvin for this season if they aren’t under the cap and Leo Thompson for next season

You realise Thompsons contract comes out of next season yeah? Nothing to do with the 2025 cap

Have heard Selwyn Cobbo -> Raiders being rumoured.

Don't get me wrong, great player and all but I don’t think we need him. Could be looking at it through green eyes but with the way our backline have been playing this year, I wouldn’t drop any of them.
