I like it too but it’s had some criticism for being too similar to a dogs or knights jersey.
The inverse of the home (essentially last years heritage) is generally the fan favourite for the away and I suspect it may be that come next jersey cycle

You`d think it was almost worth the NRL paying them to take regular games to areas with large Indigenous populations to foster the games support there and further take advantage of the decline in Indigenous representation in the fumbles playing ranks.
It was only a couple of years ago that the west coast fumbles` team coach said that Indigenous players weren`t worth the trouble and that they should stick to recruiting out of private schools.

Is there a decline in Indigenous participation in AFL? I didn't know that. Good for RL if true. I heard recently from a fumbler mate that AFL pathways are increasingly drawing from Elite sports schools. Again, not sure if actually true but if it is, great news for RL as the true people's game in Australia

If there's an extra 30 NRL contracts available in New Zealand, is that going to tempt junior Union players to come over to League given earning capacities are comparable?

Yeah, I think it was Indigenous representation at the top (it pains me calling it that) level and junior rep teams, so alarming to the point where fumblesHQ were talking about addressing it.
Of course there was also the mealy-mouthed excuses put forward about how these things go in cycles and it was only temporary, (nothing to do with incidents like that sad-sack adam goodes being booed out of the game of course) and not backed up by the obvious decline however.

Games against the Bulldogs are also where a red or green alternate would come in handy. Those are club colours too.

Plenty of options for them but Christchurch would be good. Wellington or Hamilton wouldn’t be bad either.

Could see them moving games to Adelaide if the government puts up a deal. Souths haven’t been afraid to move games around, I imagine they’ll have plenty of offers.

Pre warriors Manly was a big one with the graham lowe and kiwi player connections, As was Canberra with its high Kiwi content.- basically Andy club with a high NZ connection.
These Days Broncs, Souths and Storm seem to be up there. But it’s daylight between Warriors and the next club
Wigan and Leeds in the ESL

Canberra raiders and Canterbury bulldogs also had a history of a kiwi connection during the 90’s.

wigan, Leeds and St Helens in UK pre-NRL and warriors.

also my lower league hometown team Whitehaven always had a strong kiwi contingent.

Canberra raiders and Canterbury bulldogs also had a history of a kiwi connection during the 90’s.

The extraordinary growth of rugby league in New Zealand is there for all to see on the back of the success of the Warriors. Rotorua over the weekend hosted a Maori tournament – the equivalent of our Koori Knockout. This event started with a handful of teams 20 years ago. On Saturday there were 50 teams competing. Almost every NRL club recruitment manager was there to check out the talent.
