A conviction doesn't make the crime a fact. It is proven beyond reasonable doubt in the eyes of a bunch of flawed humans. Just like everyone who was ever wrongfully convicted. On the other hand, are there any facts that weren't determined in a courtroom? The standard for what is a fact is very different to the standard required to convict some merkin of a crime.
And where is your proof of any of this stuff? Did a jury find him guilty? Or is that only the standard when it comes to DV?

Dropped charges don't mean a crime didn't happen. The accusation is better evidence than whether or not there was a conviction. Plenty of DV victims either drop the charges after proving some power over the guy, or never go to the police in the first place. I dont ignore violence against women in any context and to suggest it makes you the POS. I'd say its taking a strong personal stand against violence against women. Also, you and I have no idea what happened between Taylan May and his missus, only two people know and its not you or me, its May and his missus, the same missus who is still with him. According to the High Court judgement the conviction and allegation against Cardinal Pell was absurd. It most likely was a total false allegation.
