Growing up watching winter rugby league in north of England you all have no idea lol
soft.

Not me.
I've been to near zero degree PL games at Upton Park, St James' Park, Ewood Park, The City Ground, Loftus Rd, etc.....
The cold was actually a bonus.

Today in Canberra was very cold and wet, I had a ticket but didnt want to seat in the rain, wind and below zero temps

Embarrassing.
Your team had to go and play in those conditions for you, yet you'd rather sit in front of a fire or heater at home rather than get out and support them.

According to wiki the highest raiders crowd average is 17,392 in 1994 the last year they won the comp

Historically their crowd average according to afl tables is just over 11k and around 12k at Bruce

This year they are averaging around 17,000? (Couldn’t find the exact figure) at Bruce stadium only which is hugely up on their long term average there

Crowds like that only build the case for a new stadium

This round feels like the aggregate crowd record that got away!!
How melodramatic of you. Anybody who knows anything about the history of NRL crowds knows this is a an amazing effort. It’s almost certain we will get 3 rounds with over 200000 this year. Nobody would have thought this possible pre Covid. Instead of whinging how about you just enjoy a great achievement?

16,407 at Canberra this year, 2nd best in their history for average at Canberra stadium, so far of course.

I’ve been keeping track of some clubs who are in the hunt for records this year, seeing as it is half way through the season I’ll post some soon.

Yeah last year was just over 17000. That stadium is a stinker. Was 20 years ago when I went there. The national capital having a shit hole like that is embarrassing

Sellouts that weren’t in Brisbane and Canberra and of course your mob weighing in with sub 15k crowds.

All pretty friendly times lots for the most part. They could give it a nudge.

Broncos ticket sales have surged for our next fixtures - the ticketing rep had to jump on and release some more for the Cronulla game in a fortnight.

Our fanbase is unfortunately stuck in a toxic relationship with our club who continue to mentally abuse us with hot and cold performances haha. Anyway, it will most likely sell out.

Shows how far their crowds dropped post super league and with the success of the brumbies but getting back to when they were a glamour club

Beating 94 will be tough even with their ladder position
