Metcalf left us twice when nobody wanted him. We found him for SG Ball ffs and he was always looking for a sugar hit. It will be interested to see if he is Nicho 2.0 next year

Instead you could look at the ability to find guys like Talakai, Nikora, Ronaldo, Katoa, Trindall and the list goes on with zero f**king money. We are stacked in NSW cup and 20's. This current crop of useless farks are likely to not be extended but we won't keep all the kids coming through. The fact we have a dozen first grade prospects below NRL is a credit to this basket case of a club. Imagine if we had the resources of Parra. Hell even Souths. The Dragons have made the finals how many times in the last 10 years?
There are plenty of things to have the shits with but our recruitment and retention has been above average. We have missed the finals once in the last 10 years.
