Anyone know what happens is the game doesn't resume? Not enough time passed to call a result (even though we all know it)...Is it postponed to be replayed?
From 2015:

Under the NRL rules, any game which is postponed because of safety concerns must be played within 24 hours, preferably at the same venue.

An NRL spokesman confirmed the match would have continued from the 27th minute with the Dragons leading 10-0. If the surface at Allianz Stadium was unplayable, or the venue was pre-booked, the NRL would have had to have sourced an alternative ground. Despite the fixture being a Roosters home game, the game could have been completed at Kogarah Oval or any other venue in Sydney. While Sydney has an abundance of grounds available – this scenario would become even more problematic at an isolated venue such as Newcastle or Townsville.

I love Wayne and he has been great in reuniting the club after it imploded last year but…

a game like today’s where he is up against a new generation coach like Ciraldo who has brought the dark arts wrestling stuff from Penrith to the Dogs shows him up again because Wayne has never embraced that Bellamy style.

But, as ever, when Souths play against a side that dominates the rucks, they are forever on the back foot while the other side is playing the whole game off the front foot. The result is a certainty and its a case only of how much.

Has the game finally passed Wayne by?

Normally I'd say it would be postponed but scheduling a replay would be very difficult unless one of them gives up a bye week. How would that be decided? Otherwise match abandoned perhaps. Don't know how you determine points though. No points, split points or both full points? Couldn't give it to the dogs based on less than a half.

Not possible - Canterbury's final bye is next weekend and Souths host Melbourne on Saturday night.
