Sharks have had the fourth highest injury tally in that table yet we are 5th on the ladder.

Do you see me complaining about my clubs injury tally each week?????

It's always fun to totally shoot down peoples perceptions with some simple facts.
"Simple facts" by using full season data to rebuke claims about this week?

I didn't say anything about Souths' injury toll for the full season, I was disputing that this week, Souths had it worse than all other clubs.

Cmon mate the numbers don’t lie. Even my Roosters mate messaged me last week and said he hasn’t seen an injury crisis this bad.
As above, @Rabbits20, you're not countering what I was referring to. Wouldn't doubt Souths have had the worst injury luck over the whole year. Just not sure why listing 16 names, half of who have barely taken the field this year if at all, is a helpful illustration of that.

EDIT: NRL Physio reporting that all three named in reserve this week (Koloamatangi, Walker & Graham) trained today albeit not full contact. Good signs?

I actually wasn't referring to your post, but it's good to know that you have your own definition as to what constitutes a fact.

Zzz. Souths have a stacked squad with great depth so its really nothing to keep talking about.

Melbourne should get them here. But they've got two byes to come and plenty of matches against bottom 8 squads. Missing the 8 would be embarrassing for the club.

You make a fair point. I'm actually a bit sick and tired of the focus on our injury toll every week. But it is a head shaker to be fair.

Righto. Just for this week, according to https://www.nrl.com/news/2025/01/01/nrl-casualty-ward-2025/, it says we are missing 9 of which 3, as you rightly point out, are in the reserves and may yet play. Newcastle are the only other team equal worst with us with 9 but they have 4 players on their list all selected to run on in the starting 13 so it's really 5 for them.

So, we be the baddest worsestest dis week too man. Woohooo! I'm so happy I could shit! 🤨

Enough about f**king injuries already. *NO EXCUSES!!!

*(Until after we lose).

BUT if those 3 on the reserves list all play (highly unlikely), then we would actually field one of our strongest teams of the year.

Our backline would be our best available with Graham and Walker slotting in for Tass and Dodd while our forwards would be close to our best with Keaon back in (with a face protector thingy maybe?) although Cam Murray and Brandon Smith (yes, tears for Brandon!) still not there who would both be in our best 17.

Would be nice to have those guys declared fit to play and give the Storm a red hot go.

Storm have been hot and cold this year and if we manage to catch them on an off night, ya never know...

Our right edge defence was very costly last week with Tyrone Munro all at sea defending inside Tass. IF Campbell Graham can overcome his back spasm issues and get out there, it will make an enormous difference because Munro should then be more comfortable in staying out on his man and covering the spread properly. I mean, he should anyway but it's largely about confidence and movement of your inside man and the preying mantis that is Campbell Graham will help fix that glaring problem IF he can be declared fit.

If Graham remains out, then shit.

I think what Yobbo was trying to say is our top 30 is half wiped out so even our depth options are injured.

And yes hopefully they all play we desperately need them too.

Surely the solution isn't to 'woe-is-me' this shit and ask questions of the club, who should probably be looking into it's S&C department, training facilities etc instead of bungling stadium negotiations
