You can't let players go that have a contract unless they want to go.
You can pay out the remaining time of the contract or negotiate a figure for an early termination of the contract. Because we have missed some high-priced signings and recruited or promoted lower-priced players to the top 30, we will have a budget surplus in our salary cap, and therefore, will have the capacity to let Lawrie and Ravalawra go (terminate their contracts). Haran, Millard, Millward, S Flannagan, Carr, and D Young need to go. These appointments are outside of our salary cap budget.

More importantly, we need to terminate the contracts of some staff in the football department.

Even allowing for the difficult kicks Lomax missed, he had a crap game. Go figure that Val doesn't drop a ball and kicks all his goals to win the match.
I got the impression that Zachary may had rushed the attempts at goal - due to the time remaining and also that the Blues needed to score again and quickly if they were going to win .

Undoubtedly the SOO atmosphere would had caused any kicker immense pressure , however the goals should not had caused a kicker of his ability any real concern - they were well and truly within his capabilities .

Nevertheless the Maroons held on and although our boys fought back tenaciously the Queenslanders deserved their win .

Although I do wonder if the ref had a quid or two on those cane toads to win ? Regardless , hopefully another individual will be chosen to adjudicate the final game .

is the best place for this article.........hmmmmmmm
I thought Dean Young was the defensive coach? But, if so, surely Flanno should have told him that a change in defensive structures is desperately required. Either way, something has to change, and quickly. (btw, I'd rather the club sack DY than SF).

Wow stat's are out no surprises on the Dragons performance this season.
Again last season flogged by Roosters Anzac day again this season and Dolphins game this season . Coaching staff all need to go after next season. We need no ex dragons players in our coaching staff after next season.
Plenty of time for new ceo to start looking after flanno and youngs contracts expire 2026.

Who do we get? Not many options... Flanno needs to stay the others can go.
