hard to say, we've been steamrolling teams in the 2nd half of games this season. Might be good for us to grind out a win like that.Honestly maybe it was a hangover from their first bye, but the raiders need to play better than that in the finals, they should be putting the tigers to bed in both halves.
After being fisted in just about every game last year all I wanted was a team that is competitiveSkelton cost Wests that game. Couldn't pick up a loose ball and childish hair pulling.
Luai must think 'what have I done'.
Raiders had a poor first half against Souths and now struggled 2nd half against Tigers.
Starting to slide?
Where exactly is a try with a pass off the ground?Canberra getting a gifted win there. A try from a set after going into touch and a pass off the ground.
I just thought he was uneven. The Tigers were holding down in the ruck just as much as we were but largely got away with it.
We were pushing it, no arguments about most of the calls against us, but we should have had a few more our way.
Oh and that high tackle call against Sasagi was bullshit. Luai screamed and Gee fell for it.
Not to mention the 3 overturned calls which were pretty blatant for the most part.
You're going ok but settle down honey you ain't usDo any of these people actually watch footy?
Even in the peak Panthers seasons there were games they'd struggle in... no one is going through a season without having a few off performances
The raiders werent close to their best, they never got out of 2nd gear and they won. Being able to win games when you're not close to your best is a pretty good indicator of what a team is capable of.
What's going on with the forwards mate? The club has identified an issue and signed KPP which hopefully pans out but it seems like Terrell May is a one man band upfront. Are there any quality props coming through on the horizon? Or are they all loose forwards in the mould of a Fonua Pole? Just seems like you're missing that Laffranchi/Gibbs type of player to help bolster that middle. Was at the game and the big screen is shit so couldnt see any replays but had no issues with refereeing. Apparently Jed was out when he pushed the 40/20 back in but linesmen always guess with those things.
We had more than enough ball and field possession to win it but couldnt, few unlucky things against us but more so bounce of the ball type situations as opposed to reffing calls, they just tend to go against you when youre losing. Luai planting the ball on Tapines leg the prime one, the kick at the end being perfectly placed for Bula but not bouncing up for him the next.
I put the loss on us and Benjis horrible bench rotations. Raiders line speed and contact far better. We've been pretty good the last 3 weeks but just unable to get the W. I really dont think we're far off
Pretty much hit the nail in the head … after Pole and May it’s a long list of plodder central. I’d put the Finau brothers above the plodders list but they are wildly inconsistentWhat's going on with the forwards mate? Didnt remotely suggest we are, hence the phrasing "Even the peak Panthers".You're going ok but settle down honey you ain't us

Exactly. We won, best not to dwell on it too much. Not when we’ve got a game with our feeder team coming up.Do any of these people actually watch footy?

Kris was on his knees with one hand on the ground. I've seen players penalised for it.Where exactly is a try with a pass off the ground?

That's the inconsistency of reffing were dealing with. Consistency would be nice. With all due respect... are you on crack?
You would have to be completely off your f**king face to try and argue Kris's offload is a pass off the ground.![]()
