I dont trust Gus

He gets infatuated with players then drops off very quickly once he finds new toy ala Galvin.

I got told info tonight from someone very close to reed.

He isnt happy

Has been burnt bigtime by Gussy Boy
I’m honestly that off Gus and Dogs it’s not funny. Genuine question as I have softened slightly on my Rheed sssnce.

Having him start and swap with Smith could be a big step up. Assuming we don’t have a crack at the Tigers kid. Would anyone take him at the $650k for a 2 year deal? I’m not suggesting we block our pathways but the sell to him is he gets to stay in Sydney with his lovely GF and not even move.

Yes he’s been a villain but he’s not the first to be sold a dream by Gus and he won’t be the last.

He has a tendency to throw a penalty but maybe Ryles can work on that with a goal of a QLD berth their joint project?

He gives great service, defensively is very strong and plays aggressive, UP tempo footy which is us.

Thoughts?

I wouldn’t be against Rheed coming back. I do think him and Ryley are too similar though, I don’t think it would work.

I am stunned that your first reaction is to defend a lefty wokefest like the Offsiders …even when no-one was attacking the actual show.
I was actually having a crack at Ryan Hoffman.

Bullshit it’s not.

Does Smelly Undercarrige still host that joke of a show?? It’s probably more an anti RL show more than anything.
Its done out of a Melbourne studio with a heavily centric AFL presence but apprantley it's not an AFL show.

Lol that will do me

He goes best when he can run at a retreating defence. If the defence isn’t going backwards, he can either take the hit up himself or dump it off to his edge forward. But he absolutely shines when he’s making 15+ runs a game, like a fullback.
Cmon Pou, you were in the army. Not everyone is cut out for Officer School. Some blokes want to be led, Brown is 100% one of those.

There paying 750k for Lewis Dud

Who can't even crack it when they had 3 halves out.

What a disaster he has been.

Chris Thorman can stand up with pride now he is the 2nd worst half to come out from England and crack the NRL.

Dodd has him covered.
Lewis Dud and Dud Sullivan in the halves for South’s.

Gee we have a decent winger pairing. Seriously decent.

When is Simonsen back seriously? I think he can cement himself as as speedster centre for a decent stretch if he can stay injury free.

Penisini next to Lomax is without doubt a better Penisini. Lomax looks on the replay like he is talking to him the whole time.

Russell you could argue has been our most consistent back. He is definitely not elite but effort and attitude are a 9.5/10 every week. He gives me Joel Reddy vibes who always busted his ass.

Saying all that we 100% have room for an elite outside back. A Joey Manu type centre would turbocharge that backline.

RYLES VINDICATED FOR DECISION TO LET GUTHO GO

Can’t wait to see Clint Gutherson and Isaiah Iongi go head-to-head when the Dragons host the Eels on Saturday.

While Gutherson has been a standout for the Dragons this year, Iongi just gets better by the week and was absolutely outstanding in the Eels’ 36-20 win over the Titans.

Without Mitchell Moses and Dylan Brown, Iongi took the game by the scruff of the neck and was instrumental in three of the Eels’ six tries.

Earlier in the year it looked as though Gutherson was going to be a huge loss for Parramatta when they kicked off with four straight defeats before they beat the Dragons by a point back in round five.

But right now it’s looking like Jason Ryles probably pulled the right rein moving forward with the 21-year-old former Panther who is such an attacking threat.

Yeah lets go through creepy Crawleys articles this year to show what a true dribbler he is.

Round 1 - What a disgrace it was letting Gutho

Round 4 - Gutho exposes Ryles

Round 5 - Gutho will haunt Ryles

Round 12 - Ryles may have the pulled the right rein with Iongi

Round 16 - Ryles now vindicated
What an absolute f**ken flog of the highest order … cannot stand the bloke and have no idea how has a job in the media
