De Belin gone , geez that’s another tough one to swallow

Honestly running out of ideas as too who the hell will be in our forward pack for 2026

It’s obvious we that Flanno has only offered him 1 yr ( if any offer was actually tabled ) as this was the same problem that surrounded his contract negotiations last year ( if you recall he was wanting 2 years and was heavily linked to South Sydney )

If he got two years at Parra then good luck to him, no way he was going to get that from us at his age and with so many quality juniors coming through. Probably our best defender but doesn't give us the go forward we need and will only get slower from here.
For better or for worse, the club held its ground earlier in the year with RCG and Saifiti, refusing to do 3-year deals. That has hurt us this year, but perhaps it is helping us in the long run.

De Belin is our best defender, but his only position is lock. Stewart looks decent at 13 and there were some rumors earlier in the year of Su'a moving to the middle. Regardless of all of this, our pack is weakened with his departure if there is no replacement.

Now if im being honest, this could easily change within the next 10 days, if the dragons counter this, and throw 2 years at him with a player option for 2028, yes i know he will be 37, but considering he missed out on 2-3 years he could still play, so realistically he could backflip

This year is like all our other past 14 years going back to 2012. The club is seemingly going about doing things as if by magic there will be a great team that will win us grand finals many times over without them having to do much work when in reality we will be staring down the barrel of another wasted year. From year to year we end up with jack shit. What in blazes are they doing? Obviously there are some people that aren't able to do their jobs properly and us fans get frustrated with the lack of any progress in getting the players we desperately need to improve.

The younger ones show promise but they just are not ready and to me there isn't anyone capable of developing them the way that the need to be. Willie Talau is the only positive thing the club has going for it at the moment as a person who players would be looking up to.

June 30 is nearing and nobody is coming by the looks of thing.

The Dogs will most probably land Da Silva to be with his mate Galvin with Mahoney on the outer. See how they plan and that is how you do it.

We seem incapable to do anything that is different to what we have been doing. Change the way things are done for heavens sake.
We don’t like outsiders and we certainly despise change.

Accountability and winning are two other things we don’t like, here at the Dragons.

You know we won 11 in a row, right?

No one will ever beat that, so we’re the best club in the world forever.

Now go away, pleb.

my point is, this is going to be a wake up call, shane flanagan has to wake up he really does, this hits harder then lomax because lomax had a choice, jdb didnt, the dragons weren't looking to offer him 2+ years, this is a disgrace to hear, I love the guy you can literally see its in my name, its so difficult to support this club, we lost our best player and even tho hes 34, hes playing hes best footy right now

I think you are all assuming the CEO will have a say running the football department..I don't think this will be the case, he will be an executive CEO tasked with the administration side of the club including corporate governance and revenue...I fear he will have very little influence on the football side of things..

At what point do the media start question the board / management / coaching staff at our Club ?

Where are the real journos that investigate behind the scenes like they do other clubs?

With all of his baggage, JDB is always a 7/8 and is by far our best defender and long servant. Ilias has been sent to reggies only to win game after game, with no recall. Sloane, gone.

All of the above would be acceptable if we had ready made replacements, I dare say we don't. After Parra we play all the top teams in a horror stretch. Add all this mid season movement and the fricken spoon is now a real possibility.

This club is broken.
