It looks, based on the level of interest that the Kangaroo tour is RLs version of a RU Lions tour in the sense that the attention and cash injection it brings the game over there is huge.

Maybe schedule it regularly on the calendar (4 years? 12 years?) and get Aussie tour groups going over to make it a valuable tourist property too.

Every 4 years would be good.

Having a year without Australia would make the Pacific Cup more interesting. I feel like Tonga, Samoa, and New Zealand are very competitive with each other right now.

Just need to get France involved somehow, they need to be playing regular touraments against decent opposition. An explained Pacific bowl would be nice.

Both Abdo and PVL have said in recent interviews it’s a priority to get France up to scratch. It’ll take a decade or 2 ……but watch this space.

Aussie are favourites but the kangaroos team of today isn’t of the same calibre of the 90’s&00’s.

ill say eng 2-1 winners.
New kangaroo coach

An ambush plan. By England

You never know 😂

The top class NRL players are fully switched on now. These days. . Full pros
Bringing the kangaroos team game
I don't think they will let there teammates down
Or themselves. Playing for the Kangaroos is
The highest standard. In Rugby league

Will probably come down to numbers as theres less chance of Australia f#cking up over 3 games compared to a one-off game in which England could and have in past test match games caught Aussie cold.

So given that England is hosting this, does this mean International rules and not NRL interference?

I’m going to say there will be NRL and ESL Refs only because of a ARLC/NRL tanty demand

Be good to have French/Welsh/PNG Touchies given a nod..

It seem to me that the reason no ones wants the Roo's job is that the ARL is so unprepared about the series, that coaches don't want to be the first side to loose an Ashes.
Despite all the rhetoric about the importance of Int Rl the NRL still treat it as a second class citizen. Still waiting on the pacific cup details as well. Youd think all the money NRL has theyd have an Int game team by now sorting this stuff out. Doesn't bode well for the world cup next year!
