It looks, based on the level of interest that the Kangaroo tour is RLs version of a RU Lions tour in the sense that the attention and cash injection it brings the game over there is huge.

Maybe schedule it regularly on the calendar (4 years? 12 years?) and get Aussie tour groups going over to make it a valuable tourist property too.

Every 4 years would be good.

Having a year without Australia would make the Pacific Cup more interesting. I feel like Tonga, Samoa, and New Zealand are very competitive with each other right now.

Just need to get France involved somehow, they need to be playing regular touraments against decent opposition. An explained Pacific bowl would be nice.

Both Abdo and PVL have said in recent interviews it’s a priority to get France up to scratch. It’ll take a decade or 2 ……but watch this space.
