tristan hope

Just a reminder of who this bloke is.
I hope (pun not intended) he knocks it out of the park.
He may not be a good a Api, but I think he will give his all for the whole game.

Rumour that Bird is out?
We can't win a trick atm.
If Bird is out, I'd like to see Kit come in at his fav lock position and put Twally into second row edge. Twal can offload but when playing lock he really tends to be one directional, very robotic, zombie like. I love him but he really kills ball movement.

I certainly won’t be disappointed if he’s out.He is so past it as an NRL player & I was pissed off when we signed the has-been.He should be playing Ron Massey cup
I think we desperately need someone like Frizzy from Newcastle. He still has it.

We will more than likely get flogged here, however there is a chance we can snag a win if our middle forwards go absolutely super Saiyan and bash the shit out of them. No Leinu or Collins is a huge loss for them. We have to play direct and through the middle because once the ball starts spreading to the edges we are absolutely f**ked and Roosters know this

I hope Twal is relying on his words as captain rather than leading by example. Otherwise the whole team will be going Quack Quack with ball in hand

Maybe we will get beat, maybe not, but as long as they stand up and show a willingness and commitment to compete will do.
I don't have any problems with what's happened to players wanting to leave, a reminder they were part of our losses as well.
Going forward, I agree with Benji that we are heading in the right direction, I do think some of his game selections have been ordinary, but he's still learning as well, I hope he will be better for it.
As the sheenius used to say, I'm not making excuses, but we haven't had our best 17 available for quite sometime.
The press is saying that he is too close to Luai and Api? FFS, they are the team captains, who else should he be discussing things with, the 20yo's fresh out of the pathways?

It's an interesting matchup on paper. They have by far he better backline and we have by far(?) the better pack.

Usually in these instances, when we play a team decimated by origin, they absolutely beat the shit out of us and win comfortably. We've only beaten the rorters 9 times since inception.

Here's hoping we can buck the trends.

Luai in the papers again not committing to staying. I’m sure if he left the 1.2 million extra for the club to spend could find a good home/s ..We are at the bottom of the ladder. Sure we’ve been more competitive but the roster has improved as well. Hope the halves kick butt to emphasise the point. AD just needs to loosen up a bit..
Anyway where’s Luai going to go for that $

Luai will stick with us like shit to a blanket. His value is sinking by the week. There will not be sa club in the comp offering him a mil. We are well and truly stuck with him.
