can't blame Galvin, was a poor selection and tactic by Ciraldo. Galvin tried hard and didn't die wondering which is a good sign but the style he played just didn't gel with the rest of the team.

That was also probably the worst game i've ever seen Adam Reynolds play. He was astoundingly bad in that game...

I just don’t get what the dogs were thinking with Galvin. They were the best team in the comp and now they’re throwing their whole roster into turmoil to accomodate a teenager who hasn’t proven shit and straight up struggling to play at NRL level.

Maybe he’ll be a future star but this situation just ain’t it.
A teenager who wants to play for the ladder leaders rather than having any loyalty and doing the hard yards. He believes all the hype on him.

Xavier Willison keeps going from strength to strength. He was one of the few shining lights from last year's disasterous campaign from the Broncos and last night was the best game of his career.

20 runs (205m), 85 Post Contact, 4 Tackle Breaks, 1 Offload, 43 Tackles.

Even when the Broncos were struggling, he was one of the best players on the park and the Bulldogs simply couldn't keep up.

Promising signs from Mam as well. The crowd is entitled to boo him, the only response he can make is to silence them with his play and he achieved that last night. Played a role in three tries, but one of the most pleasing plays was the kick into the corner with 3 minutes remaining.

How good Mam is and how big a ghost Burton is is being lost in all the stinking from Galvin and Reynolds.

He still plays like it's schoolboy footy

He's everywhere but way too rushed when he gets the ball..needs a proper stint in reserve grade to dominate there for a bit

He needs coaching imo
Like its fine when you're on a bad tigers team to just go out there and play footy, and know that 70% of what you do wont come off... but we're playing big boy football now at the dogs. This is a team hoping to contend for a title, they cant afford their half playing soo loosely

Ciraldo needs to give him clear and simple instructions. Make your tackles, when you run, run hard and focus on distribution.
Dont need any of this fancy bullshit where you want to play deep into the line and throw the pretty pass... that can come naturally as you get more FG experience, he's not ready to do that consistently yet so making it a feature of his game is just gonna result in errors and uneven play

Focus on defence, running the footy and giving early ball to the play makers outside him. And then as he gets through to 50+ games and he's settled into the speed and phyiscality of NRL footy and is handling that aspect of it, you can open the throttle a bit and give it some gas.

Goes without saying what a bad loss this is for the dogs. They are giving every indication of a team that will go out the back door in the finals and may even miss top 4 on that form.

Their defence is elite so will keep them in games but there is nothing to be afraid of in attack. The only game they have broken open all season is souths on Good Friday
