One of those rare occasions where a loss sort of feels like a win.

I'm not going to suggest we win that game, as we seem to regularly shoot ourselves in the foot, but that forward pass call, was a game changer. If that try stands, the whole complex of the game changes.

The Weekes try, where he ran through just about everybody was the difference in the end imo (gotta give special mention to Lids for his chase, he was the only one and nearly pulled it off).

Yep, that is correct. I’ve been saying it for weeks. Everyone keeps bashing Kyle but go look at our stats and we hardly make metres for our forwards.. Klemmer leads the way weekly at rough 100/150.

Yep last night was yet another 2025-2024-2023-2022-2021-2020 kind of game where we spend most of the game defending on our line and trying unsuccessfully to get out of our own half before we kick straight to their fullback on the full and each set we are pushed further backwards. Sprinkle in the inevitable dumb errors and we spend most of the game at the wrong end of the field. Have been saying it for years. Nothing changes until the forwards actually go forward. It’s why I’m already so pessimistic about ‘26. If we have the same or similar set of forwards we’re getting the same results next season.

Guys I know what everyone thinks of Sloane but jeez we need Speed Speed. If he goes what do we have nothing. Coaching Sloane into a game not letting him hang out to dry.
Getting the ball to him early!!!! But we don’t heaven helps if he goes to become a better player it comes down to confidence and coaching and mentoring. And don’t get me started on that atrocious defence, players fault and our so called defensive coach. Pathetic, should have won the game.

Exactly .. so much bashing every other player besides these forwards who aren’t laying a platform!
Next year with more experience in the juniors may help us abit more, but 1/2 forwards are desperately needed .

Run away try for 70 meters and he still only made 167m! Besides that most the season lucky to break 100m!
I love what he possess in attack but way way too small unfortunately. Need your back 5 to average 150/200 EACH weekly! And we don’t get that off him.

If they play like that till the end of the season and lose every game il be happy, unfortunately the board would probably sack him and some on here will be happy with that. I would not be one of them.

we were getting thrashed last night till Canberra gave us some mercy and went into hibernation preparing for their holiday next week
‘we could be close to last this year and next year could be the same without change but never mind you will be happy with that

Special mention to M Molo. He has been playing pretty well in reserves and to do 49 tackles with only 1 ineffective tackle and to push out 80min is what we need. Our defence structure is shit but so our most of our players defensive techniques. He is my man of the match, Kyle played ok aswell he done his job well I'll give him that.
