Is there a breakdown of the ratings by state and territory? It would be interesting to see how NRL rates in SA and Tasmania.

For SA, due to the way the Nine does its ratings, unfortunately no. Where Seven combines its primary and secondary channels where the programming is the same, Nine doesnt appear to do the same.

For Tasmania, unfortunately RegionalTAM no longer produces its own ratings data, as its has all been folded into VOZ. This was previously the only way of determining Regional WA and Tasmanian ratings,

Was thinking the same but for origin depleted squads excellent

Be nice if origin can break the magic 4 million mark on Wednesday that would be amazing
Origin is going gang busters this year mate but still people whinge about it. It’s the jewel in Australia’s sporting crown.

NRLW

1,313,000
284,00040,000

Massive reach compared to average, wonder how many viewers were put off by the empty stadium.
The NRLW will not become the premier women`s rugby competition in the world if we cannot get decent crowds, it looks bloody awful on tv. Are doubleheaders the answer, maybe.
There usually is a sharper contrast between Reach and Average for women's sport. Not entirely sure why, but suspect it's related to the same reason AFL shouldn't feel too pleased with their Reach figures.

The main UK terrestrial channels are currently showing two games per day from the women's Soccer Euros. Would expect the England games will rate well, not so much the others. There was also a report recently that ratings for the English Soccer WSL fell dramatically last season. They weren't high to begin with.

Seems that only rep events are capable of delivering good ratings for women's football codes. Domestic comps struggle for attention in markets saturated by the equivalent men's product. Underlines the vital importance of Origin to women's RL in Oz.

If a 3 minute horse race stops a nation, and so does State of Origin, and its a whole lot better than watching some horses trot trottt trotttttt 😴

It's a different story when Wazn is racing.

Sport doesn't get any better than that.

It’s not just a women’s game

Seeing an awful crowd for a meh men’s game I’ll lose interest fast

I watched fifteen minutes the standard was ok
Do the people that post on here so uneducated on Rugby League that a poor crowd can make people with off or do people on here just not enjoy the sport?

I’d be happy watching a quality game with or without a crowd and have done in the past. Heck I’ve enjoyed poor quality games in the past in front of small or no crowds and enjoyed it.

Different people like different things. Atmosphere adds a lot to a game so I can completely understand why someone would be turned off by a poor game with a poor crowd.

If it’s a packed stadium it feels like an event and neutrals will watch.

If the stadium is empty you feel like, if the fans don’t care about this game why would I ?

I do if it’s a meh game and the stadium is empty af

Ie souths at Accor unless it’s a big game

Souths getting 40 out on them before 8k is a soul destroying experience

Most sharks games
Most titans games
Tigers and dragons might get half a season but 8k or less in a suburban ground sucks

At least stadia like Allianz combank and north qld hide it better

Whereas I will rarely miss a game which has 20 to 25k in
