too much club politics affecting NSW. Hudson Young is the best edge forward in the game but they are reluctant to give him any minutes. For some reason every NSW team needs to a few roosters players whether they deserve it or not. Sua'al'i last year being the pinnacle of undeserved roosters selections. Daley falling into the same trap as Freddy, just pick a bunch of Panthers and they should win it, no need for tactics.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to suggest that Madge f**king Maguire made all the difference here.

Cleary's form at rep level has to come into question here. We saw how good Moses was last year. If he had featured in game two the series would already be over.

Considering how stacked that NSW side is, and that even a lot of QLD supporters were resigned to the Blues washing us 3-0, for QLD to win that series, at a decider in Sydney, is deadset f**king embarrassing. Laurie needs to be shot out of a cannon.

You guys need to embrace it: we're just better than you. It was your game for almost 100 years, not anymore.

As a Queensland supporter I think it’s very unfair of you not to give Laurie another chance. He should be coach of the Blues next year, no cannons.

Everyone needs a chance to come good. That’s always the best way. You just keep doing the same thing over and over. A different result will happen if you’re patient enough.

Or not.

I still think Cleary and Moses is worth a look. You can't question Cleary's grit and game management, he just has absolutely no ability to change the plan on the run. Maybe the downside of how fking good Penrith's system based plans have been.

But whether it was coaching or Cleary, they need to break out of the Game 1 thing where they starved Moses of footy.
Clearly and Moses def deserve game 1 next year. I’d probably change the 1 & 9 though. Katoa should be next cab off the rank in the halves if we lose next year.

I wont be blaming a single player tonight for NSW although there were some bad ones. Its just clear as day we need a coach strong enough to pick on form and strong enough to play the right type of footy. Unfortunately NSW didn't have that. Daley promised to follow the blueprint and he didn't.

0 from 3 in origin deciders

It makes no sense.

12 straight finals wins including two Clives.

Orchestrated the greatest comeback the game has seen in a GF while his halves partner was off the field.

He's clearly not been fit all season but he still has all the tools. Just doesn't seem to want to use them in Origin.

The complete lack of structure under the space cadet and Daley doesn't help.

Only if their form warrants it at the time. Most likely they will but it shouldn't be guaranteed.

I'd put Yeo in the same boat. The two of them have been absolutely dominant in club land, have built the Penrith empire... but plod along when it comes to rep footy.

Then you have guys like Mitch Moses and Cam Murray, who have been great but not as dominant in club footy, come along, step up and dominate rep matches.

I'll say it again, Cleary can't play rep footy. That includes international footy. Please pick Moses as the half for ashes
How the f**k does Moses get picked at 7 for Australia when he cant get picked there in the losing Origin side?

And the bloke who did get picked in the winning side carved it up. When coming into the side in place of the dropped Captain.
