Well Zac Hardaker has scored 2016 tries this season, Bongwater could match that.Would Drinkwater even get a run in England?

The Cows f**ked themselves in the face, no argument there.
But they got some very important bad calls....
Like what? The 3 knock ons they did that were missed?
The slap at the ball which didn't touch his face?
Probably owned by one of the inside crew.Lol remember when that merkin had a 10 attack in ASRL
See, this is what shits me
During the crackdown, both the shoulder charge, and the 'whiplash' tackle would have been 10 in the bin
Neither should be sin bins, but they were
The fact they happen in the same season, that affects the same ladder, that affects whether teams make finals or not.... is bloody amateur hour
You're allowed to smash someone in the face if you're trying to save a try. Another hard bit to comprehend is acknowledging he was deliberately striking at the ball and the Dogs get the ball back.As is tradition. Slainte
Video ref said that hitting Bongy in the head in the act of scoring was ok cos Kikau was playing at the ball.
Worst decision though was the “set restart” given to the Bulldogs just because Kiraz was putting pressure on the far side touch judge. Bulldogs scored on the next set. A few minutes earlier he was berating the same touch judge for ruling him offside(correctly) on a kick chase. Touch judge should be sacked.
My problem was around the 60 min mark when the cowboys were coming out of their own half. The humidity is usually affecting the visiting team by then and I saw a few instances where the ref could have called a six again but didn’t.Damn i must've watched another game... thought Cowboys best on field was the ref.
not defending Payten here (i'm not a fan of his coaching) but he had to put Purdue at 6 because he had no one else (Duffy and Clifford are injured)Absolutely outstanding scrambling from the Bulldogs. I don’t recall a team missing 50 tackle in a match yet still win. A lot of their defenders pinball back on first contact but 2 or 3 other defenders clean it up. Great try saver on Taulagi. Great effort play from Kikau but on another day that could have been a penalty try.
Cowboys’ team selection and tactics were not great. In a must win match you don’t move your gun attacker to a position he recently totally failed to shine in and in doing so neuter your whole left side attack. Why weaken 2 positions? What the Cowboys’ attack needed was a short grubber from Dearden or Drinkwater for Purdue or Nanai but that tactic , which had worked well before, was strangely shelved.
Also , why play a work in progress like Derby in a must win match when you’ve got a more experienced option in Paulo ? Fine to blood Derby when the top 8 is out of reach. In the end a missed opportunity for a win which might have kickstarted the Cowboys’ season , but judging by the number of handling errors by the Cowboys , probably wouldn’t have.
if you think Karl Lawton should be playing 6 for NQ, then we can wrap up this convo politely.Karl Lawton came through the grades as a five eighth. Could have filled in there for that game and preserved the left side attack. Would have only weakened 1 position instead of 2. All he would have had to do was make his tackles and stay out of the way in attack. Anyway , an opportunity missed.
And Lawton’s more mobile than Tony Williams was .
And the ref gets promoted to full strength melb v manly. Good luck sea eaglesGutsy effort from the Bulldogs. Had to battle the Cowboys and hometown Wyatt. great to get the W despite the disadvantage.
Magnificent try saver from Kikau.
