HM TMM Boyd RTS

This lineup has more footy iq with Tuaupiki and TMM on the paddock
Not good at Captain's challenge without Barnett we need a new co-captain who is good at that

no DMs, DWZ was rocks and diamonds but more of the latter and I’m not giving Ford a DM when he delivers 166m and 49 tackles.
actually I’ll give Rocco’s shoulder the DM, haha.

We didn't win a short kick off (either way) all game and our kick chase compete was off. Work ons!
Yeah I noticed those things were off. Notably things Rocco usually excels at so losing him didn’t help. Definitely a few adjustments needed but I liked the way we iced the game well at the back end and got some for and against back in the bank.

the long dropout option is almost a thing of the past with all the NRL teams
Not sure what that has to do with my observation. My point was we didn't win any short drop offs when we were kicking them, nor win any when Wests were kicking them.

he basically racks those up because he is there which I am not shitting on. We need the minutes right now. But aside from being there, he was dogshit. That effort on Douehi for his second try was up there with what Kosi gets crucified for

This is the perfect example of how stats have ruined our ability to see what is in front of us

I don't get this at all. What do you mean because he's there? There's a gallon of other players at other clubs, including ours, that don't have the output of Jackson Ford. What's the difference with him?

I just don't see the things Meth and MV see. I'm not a massive fan of him by any stretch, although I do think he's a good fit for our side. I've definitely been against him in the past, and from memory I didn't want him in the 17 this year. But he's clearly filling a role. I watch him hit the line pretty hard, tackle with regularity, and I think why does he get shat on? Ok, he missed a bum tackle for Douehi's try. Not ideal. He's not in my votes but I also thought he contributed.
