3-2-1 v Broncos

his size is an issue, but despite this, he played really well. Safely defused everything that came his way. Looked increasingly dangerous as the game went on.
Yeah he was solid, just a lightweight when on the ground in the wet. Was waiting for him to slid across the sideline during one of his runs

Tauapiki should never play in the wet again. Guy gets touched and immediately slides 5m backwards.

yet he still had a great game and ran for over 170m. He seems to have the footy iq to not let his lack of size be too much of a handbrake in the wet. He gets to ground quickly and positions himself well.

Kosi worst player in the squad, worst player in the comp and not even top 5 wingers in Fox memorial.
No arguments there. He has size but he L AA cla pace, skill and footy brains. How far away is DWZ? Also notable that Monty is killing it back at the dogs. We should never have let him go.

Metcalf got a little better in the second half, I thought. I am not sure what’s happening though…what is stopping them from dictating?

I couldn’t believe it when Barnett was at first receiver after play restarted on the last tackle in the lead up to Kosi’s try
Communication/understanding between Egan and Metcalf within the red zone is the issue, I think

3 Tuaupiki
2 Clark
1 Halasima

Tuaupiki is a natural half. The best we have.
7 Tuaupiki
6 Metcalf
The points will come

Yep, can't seem to organise on a consistent basis and kicks selections are generally very poor. Had a couple of sets it looked good. Watching the tries on replay the 2 structured tries, both times middles sitting back and outside (Reynolds) up. So not sure if it good setup and read of what in front on them or just poor defence.

We don't want to talk about the warning Broncos got with repeat infringements i side the 10m and then a 6 again given away for inside the 10m and nothing happened within 2 sets?

3. Clark
2. Leka
1. Metcalf (Despite the goalkicking)

HM's - Egan, Vaimauga, Capewell, CHT, Barnett, Niukore

DM - Kosi, why does he still get picked, bring through Pasikala or Kali, under no circumstances must Kosi be renewed.

Warriors seem now to have become a better wet weather footy side, quite a change from the past couple of seasons. Clark brings as much value, maybe more, than walker did, and certainly an upgrade from Jazz. The young bucks need more game time, they shouldn't be the future, they need to be the present. We will end the round in the top 4 I think, and somewhat above our rightful station. Why do the warriors invest so much time in plod like Kosi? It doesn't make any sense. Just a big body basically with few other attributes.

i don't disagree with this from a conceptual point of view, but it just doesn't look like it will happen.

While it was nice to see TMM get a game, I'd rather see Healey on the bench. TMM needs to be on the field for 80 to bring value, imo.

I’d have reservations even at a conceptual level as there’s no indication Taupiki is an organiser. We’d be running two running halves and be severely lacking in a kicking game.
CHT has his limitations but at least he’s sharing the load with Metcalf.

A bit late with my 3-2-1 than usual but what an ending to a game that I never thought we would win.
Glad to be wrong in these occasions.

03 - Clark (My favourite Warrior this season, glad he got a W after we let him down last week for his 100th)
02 - Halasima (Just let him start each week or more minutes coming off the bench)
01 - Tuaupiki (He's our fullback going forward, still baffled on why CNK is getting an offer)

HM: Capewell, Barnett and Ford (Ford made up for his 3 errors. 1 was actually caused by Egan with a shitty pass, we also forget he faced the best forwards in the game, Carrigan/Haas kept pressing forward as they do but we contained them pretty good)

DM: Pompey, Metcalf, Kosi.

Didn't he request to go back, as opposed to us just letting him go? (I may be wrong on this)

I haven't seen the match yet, I couldnt bring myself to watch it after they let me down completely against the Storm... sigh... I'll have to watch a replay

I mean, we could do with Montoya right now, I guess. But with or without Montoya, the problem is still there. Why can't we develop a better option than Montoya? Our success or failure on the wing shouldn't rise on Marcelo Montoya.

I mean, let’s not give him too much credit. He was forced into it and will likely revert again this week

After Webster got some credit for starting Halasima. Seems as if he has reverted back to the status quo- our most exciting strike back on the bench
