I actually think the Roosters senior player recruitment in the past few years has been abysmal - Brandon Smith, Dom Young and the David Fafita debacle.
Mark Nawaqanitawase, Reece Robson, Spencer Leniu. Not too bad if you ask me. Both players you mentioned were marquee that just didn’t work out at the roosters, but before they they were some of the most sought after in their position

We do the Gordon family who own 50% of the club are Billionaires
they own 49% and the Dragons own 51%
The Gordons couldnt give a shit about us, what have they done other than wipe both club debt, nothing else as far as I know, does anyone here know if they contributed more than that?

No, it’s 50/50 with WIN holding the NRL license.
Yes you are right there RedVee -

Who owns St. George's Dragons?

St. George Illawarra Dragons - Wikipedia

In August 2018 WIN Corporation purchased the Illawarra Steelers remaining 25% stake in the club for a "commercially in confidence" sum. The St George Dragons and WIN Corporation now have a 50% stake each. WIN Corporation has paid off the $6 million debt the St. George Illawarra Dragons owed the NRL.

Must say that as coach of eels in 2009 Anderson introduced this ‘off load’ ball concept with eels players being tackled even rolling it back rugby style no matter. Team mates knew the game off load blitz and were expecting it and it largely worked.

Of course, Fui Fui was charging and Hayne at his best. Eels pushed Storm all the way. Anderson could work well.

Always liked Kerr, hes tall and mobile, has accepted his fate that hes a middle now (started out a winger iirc)... and can make a real impact off the bench, takes u up a gear when he comes on instead of down a gear with our current benchies... picked as 18th man in origin says something also.

Would need 1 more.. but it would be our first 1st grade quality signing in ages.

It’s a gee up i think
Yes, why would he want to come back to the Dragons? He had a falling out with Hook in his final year with us in early 2023 and signed a deal to play under Bennett for a year starting in 2024 at the Dolphins and now under Woolf in 2025 but Dolphins not going to renew his deal.
There was an article in Foxsports that
"Josh Kerr, off-contract with the Dolphins, has stated he will not allow himself to be taken advantage of by a club again when negotiating his next contract. He expressed a desire to stay with the Dolphins, his junior club, but also emphasized that he has learned from past experiences and now understands the business side of the NRL. Kerr's comments came after a strong performance in his 100th NRL match, where he scored a try and played a key role in the Dolphins' win over the Storm."
