We have some decent juniors coming through..

We just need to ensure they are developed.

I am more worried about the re-signings we have done this year with players that should not have been kept...

Volkman is an ok player but we resigned him why when we have Footy Dean and Joash as backups Hunter is coming through as well.

Penisini Mateale Latu all are not going to make it as NRL players and there are better players in Flegg..

I make of it that Ryles is saying Brown doesn't get to play five eighth for the Eels again, and can expect bench time for periods in any future game this year.

All for that, given if Brown was halfway decent, he would be playing in the #7 for us when Moses is injured.

Brown's form hasn't demanded a starting spot and our 2026 players need to get experience in their combos, positions, and playing at this level.

We need more from him if he wants the gig. I want him to do well. But in both games so far he’s been average.

The only way it won't be Joash wearing the number 6 come Round 1 2026 is if we sign someone from outside the club or he is injured.
