Every club is content to have backups in the top 30. They know better than you.
Well only 1 team has won the competition in the last 4 years so those other f**kers know jack shit.

Maybe Russell, since his man cut back underneath. He probably should've followed him. It depends on what the game plan dictates, but it looks like we are coached to slide in that situation. We weren't on the line, we were ten metres out. With better inside push from our middles, edge merkins aren't getting held up in the defensive line and they can slide out as they should. So I would put the try down to fatigue.Who do you think the try cause was?

Penrith has had plenty of plodders in their top 30 over the past four years. Some of those years they had the likes of Momirovski, Staines and Tyrone May in their top 17 ffsWell only 1 team has won the competition in the last 4 years so those other f**kers know jack shit.
You don't want JAC one-on-one with Alamoti. Not unless JAC is the one with the ball. It looked more like Papalii should've kept sliding and let the inside defenders deal with Tago if he got the ball. After all, they did such a good job with him on the previous try.It was Russells mis read.. Only Alamotti was outside Cleary when he went through and the Fox was on him..

Russell has been in this team a lot longer than Papalii. If anyone got their assignment wrong it's more likely to be the bloke who's spent most of the season playing fullback in reserve grade.
*JeffLol. Yeah Dylan was so effective at hooker.
Game changed when -
*Nathan come on...... Your allowed to say it
That try at the end of the first half pissed me off. Up until then we were the better team.It wasn't the wrong game plan in the first half.
It was only when we were chasing points, pushing passes and missing tackles that it became the wrong plan.
Some of our attack and our defensive scramble in the first half was the best we have seen all year.
You can also afford to experiment when your season is gone and you have nothing left to lose.He was coming off the bench at the time and Bennett replaced him with Stu Kelly. You can afford to be vindictive when you have that much talent in your squad.
The game changed when we turned the ball over one too many times. It wasn't Cleary that made Paulo and Williams let a centre run straight through them. It was fatigue.
He hasn’t to date. How long do we have to wait?
Nah, the kid is learning to play NRL which is hard enough and at the same time learning a new position. He’s f**king garbage.
If we signed any of them you would piss your knickers ffsYeah those names don't make your argument merkin
They didn't bring him on until we had fumbled our way out of gas. After that they were running downhill and so was he.Nathan's kicking mate.
Score without - Parra up 6-4
Score with Nathan 28 -6
PapaliiWho do you think the try cause was?
Bad execution doesn't mean bad game plan though.I disagree that it wasn't wrong in the first half. The toll of continually surrendering good ball and field position and of failing to press our advantages told in the second half. It didn't become the wrong plan - it was wrong all along and that manifested through the drop off in the second half and the late try on half time.
I don't disagree that we looked good in ball movement but I just think that there were double digit occasions where the pass was pushed rather than being the result of good shape, good movement and an available offload - all of these errors came from passes thrown for the sake of it.
Guymer threw a five metre pass directly into the path of a defender because he just didn't look as he passed. Paulo threw it straight to Casey Maclean. Multiple players attempted to squeeze an improbable offload and just fell into errors.
Like I said, it is not a "sack Ryles" post because I like the direction he is heading with recruitment, development and generally the team structures. But I also think it is fair to say that yesterdays game plan of "keep the ball alive at all costs" was misconceived.
Just remind us all when Dylbro has played like a world class anything this season. He’s basically hardly put in an effort compared to previous years, and until he gives a shit? Why should the coaching staff or fans.Yes we need to be remined that he is a rookie as well. Is our aim to develop or win games here ? I highly doubt Belly or Bennett would bench or shift a world class 6 in July to benefit the advancement of a fullback to play 5/8 - who has only ever play 6 twice before in opens in his life.

Agreed. Ryles knows the type of players required to execute his game plan. We aren’t there yet.Bad execution doesn't mean bad game plan though.
He wasn’t bad at 9. I would have liked to have seen him there longer. Smith is back next week. I think he’ll leave Joash at 6 and put Dylan somewhere else.Just remind us all when Dylbro has played like a world class anything this season.
