Probably has to be there tbh..

Id assume Munster, Cleary, Moses, Deardon will all be on the tour if fit ??
If one or two dont tour due to injury probably DCE comes in

The Kangaroos tours of the past were something else.

Played these 3 tests, plus 2 tests v France plus another 12+ games vs domestic sides (most played mid-week)

Was 2.5 month tour v this 2 week tour

Ahh memories of the traditional Kangaroo tour. As soon as the Grand Final was over they announced the squad. Jumped on a plane to Manchester two days later, or London then Manchester. The first two games featured players not playing in the finals. The 1994 team was very strong, some of the best players couldnt play a test.

They tried bringing it back in 2001, orginally playing St Helens and Leeds, but that was cut short because of what happened, then in 2003 we played France, Wales, England A I think before the Ashes.

Are there actually any tour games though? The only thing I can find is info on the tests, so even if Moses is picked it's likely he watches from the stands unless Cleary gets injured or Mary says he can't play.

No tour games. Just the 3 games unless they do a warm up game for the “emus” (backups and players who missed finals so need some match fitness) which they used to do pre-tour games/tri-nations but it won’t be televised or anything.

Think it’s a squad of 25 going, so basically your best 17 plus a backup in each position

Back then, dont remember many pulling out of the tour due to injury or the like,

Think it was 1986, where Wayne Pearce did a gruelling fitness test to test the knee that he had injured earlier in the season . That knee passed with flying colours , But they ruled him out cause he stumbled due to a pot hole on the good knee LOL. Cant make this shit up

I reckon you could make another squad of the blokes that wont be going these days. constant collisions/professionalism has played its part players getting more in injured, as well as the desire
