Sack Adam O'Brien

I’m fully on board with him getting sacked because at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how brave you are in defence if you can’t score points. I just hope they keep their grit though. The players’ attitude from the older guys to the younger ones really is great and AOB needs credit for creating that culture. Need to be able to keep that but also improve at football under the new coach.

Yeah I mean I am proud of our defence this year especially and it's a strange feeling not expecting to concede every single play the opposition has in your 20 but it means very if you can't score points. We're running 14th.

That and the fact we only look first grade standard for the second half of the year when the year is pretty much gone and 3 of our best players are injured isn't good enough.

Toohey's on his #saveAOB campaign after that game lol.

I’d give him 2 months into next year. And if Brown is not firing on all cylinders and our attack looks no different, he gets sacked! End of. I am very worried our defence will be the sacrificial lamb under a new coach. And that cannot just be gleefully ignored. The grit is something we have not seen in a very long time.

guess which team won based on these two headlines
Team missing 3 best players, without halves and who had a virus through the camp which resulted in one of their 2 starting quality props playing only 20 mins are happy to get through the game and be the better team and lead for 80 mins vs a top 6 team.

Top 6 team not happy to have accidentally fall over the line vs a bottom 4 side.

What a nothing burger.

Terrible idea. If you are going to fire him after 2 bad months then do it now. Why derail all of next year with an interim if that is where you're at now?

Brandon Smith: “It is interesting you said implement the coaches (game plan) cause Adam O'Brien is an attack coach. He was the attack coach for the Storm, he was the attack coach for the Roosters where they were so successful. I just wonder if he’s got a lot to say in that part of what Blake Green’s trying to do. I know Blake Green personally and I was coached by him. He’s a really smart, smart footballer and he’s a bloody good dude. So I can understand why there might be a player driven response to him wanting to be coach cause I feel like he builds a real close connection with the team.”

Being a “bloody good dude” doesn’t make someone a good attacking coach. Neither does being a smart footballer.

With AOB, nobody is expecting him to be able to get wins against top 4 sides in the current state, so I feel like giving him the rest of the year to prove himself is silly and a bit unfair. They’ve had nearly 6 years to determine if he’s the right coach or not. If they want to sack him let it be known now and then the club can start off season with a new coach.

Pick up Robinson once he gets sacked 3 years early- Roosters have a tough run home, have had all 3 byes and already sitting outside the top 8.

Can’t see Robbo getting sacked. They’ll give him the benefit of the doubt as apparently they were always meant to go badly this year even though they still have more rep players than most sides lol.

Not sure he’d be a good coach for us either.
